- Hello everyone!
Welcome to episode 3 of my new series here on The Vintage Oaks, the staggeringly beautiful, 4x PC only UK map from @Farm_Sim_Brisco .
In this third episode, we've made it to September, our first 2 day month and the work is a plenty! We've got plowing, cultivating, seeding and mowing all ahead of us. But first, we've got the biggest field on the map to harvest. Our barley! But the rain is due! Let's see if we can beat it!

Im using the same setup with combaines, and for the green one I use also the Dominator header but I have paint it with the Color configurator so it match the green Claas color.
I do the same with the Dominator combaine so they are all the Dominator (Ford)

Get the fork attachment on the blower. You can even pick the bales in the blower with it. Keeps the bale dropping out too.

Great episode mate, in the mod with the H-124 there is a spike which attaches to the back which lifts the bale up, I am going to try this straw blower again as I was having the same issues with recognition but with the driving in to the pen I’ll try that
im just using the feed mixer in the pen for straw
Hey mate! Yeh I learned that too from Finnish earlier, trust me to miss that vital part off haha!! Cheers though mate appreciate it! Yeh it works perfectly once you’re in the enclosure! :)
I play all my games set in the 80's. I ensure that all my cars and tractors are period correct, but not quite so fussy regarding equipment. Nothing that looks too modern though.
Hey mate! So you’re way more experienced at hunting out the period correct machinery then! Haha! Like I’ve said in the series so far, I found it loads of fun hunting down and researching the right stuff! :)

I love this map, I will stay on it until Fs25 drops. I also loved the original Oaks. What mod are you using to show temperature on the status bar at top right? Cheers and thanks for the episode

Is it worth the trouble of cleaning up the corners after completing the harvest? I mean if you're doing a huge field, would the little bit in the corners be worth the gas.
Haha honestly it’s more of an OCD thing, I can never bring myself to leave bits missed, whether I’m plowing, liming, or any other field work. I just have to make sure it’s all got otherwise I just can’t settle haha! :)
@Farmer-Sim same here! Find myself going clear across a field to hit a spot that didn't get lime or a bit that courseplay missed.
Instead of using a quicke front loader should get the MP-Lift its looks a bit older feels a bit older and the ford you have can take it and the claas Tucano 580 has the 7.7m header that the ford combines are using but then in green looks better then the draper bar you have now

Combines going unrealistically fast
Err....nope! Running at 6mph, the same working speed as every other base game header. If it looked like the blue ones were running faster than the green one, like I said in the video, the green one was running slower as the header was too close to the ground.
