I think I'm gonna make one for myself. just a tip on pleating: if you want your pleats to stick, pleat the fabric, top and bottom, then do the following: spray it with cold water, then iron it as hot as the fabric allows, preferably with steam, and immediately put an ice pack on top of it. the temperature shock will keep the pleats from unfolding after the skirt is done.

Hey! Putting the pins perpendicular to the item makes it easier to put through a machine, in my experience. They are way easier to pull out and there is less of a chance you stab yourself 😊.
Oh I just saw that show and I liked the skirt too, so I made a drawing of it so I can make it. but I think she had little leather like straps buckles on the side. I think simplicity has a pattern of it thus fall with the two straps.
