Classic firearms have these listed for $199 right now
These are super reliable, 1400 rounds through mine, no issues other than the front sight came loose after 300 rounds. Takes XD-9 16 round mags, so they are interchangeable with no issues. Only downside is no aftermarket sights for it yet. Mine eats aluminum, steel, all forms of brass, and +P with no issues. I put a universal grip sleeve on mine for like 8 bux that makes a world of difference. Sig p320 rear sights fit but I have not found a front sight that does. XD sights do not interchange with this FYI.
I put a grip sleeve on mine also and it does make a big difference.

I got my BRG9 back when they were $189 shipped, good gun with no problems so far. It works with Springfield XD9 magazines just fine and apparently works with many XD9 parts. The slide and barrel are 4340 steel and unlike the XD9 the rear rails are metal, hopefully pretty durable in the long run.

I purchased one of these firearms for $199 plus tax a shipping a few months ago. I was vert surprised by the quality of the firearm at this price point and even more impressed how it shot. With a couple of freeway jams first time out was pretty sure it was ammo causing the issue. After running another 100 rounds the gun work flawlessly. Would highly recommend this firearm to a budget minded shooter.

I'm a very budget-minded buyer. I will spend the money when I have to but with guns like this and the PSA dagger, 500 to 600 dollar guns just dont make alot of sense to me personally.
You're definitely one of my faves, and it just so happens that I live somewhere close by (Unionville). However, even if you weren't local, still being one of my #1 go-tos for info.

A few months back I got the FDE for $245.00. I liked it so much I was considering another. Stumbled on a deal for a black one NIB for $199.00 so I bought it. They are really nice pistols, I'm impressed to say the least.
I just picked up my BRG9 from my FFL and I’ve got to say this is the BEST bargain in striker fired 9mm pistols on the market today! I did a lot of research before purchasing and I already own a lot of Turkish manufactured pistols (Stoeger STR-9, Sarsilmaz SAR9, TISAS PX-9, Girsan MC9, American Tactical FXS-9) and the BRG-9 is as good as it gets. BRG didn’t skimp on anything. It comes in a nice lockable box, has an extra magazine (this is a big deal), back straps and a lot of extra goodies. These are “Golden Times” for unbelievably well made but budget friendly Turkish pistols and BRG is now one of the top contenders. I can’t wait to get my hands on a tactical version. The American dollar vs Turkish lira has placed the American buyer in a very advantageous spot, take advantage of this because this won’t last forever. Politics aside, the Turks are a NATO country and know how to manufacture firearms, these aren’t junk by any means. They are really well made with materials and workmanship other manufacturers skimp on. I know BRG reads posts on their pistols so I want to say “Thank you” for bringing a super nice, high quality pistol to market for those of us who may be on a budget but want a reliable handgun to keep our families safe.

I picked one of these up for $189.99 awhile ago. It’s definitely made after the XD’s. I’ve had no issues with it at all.
I bought 4 of these beginning of the year for less than i paid for my sig xten...lol. i need a couple more but the cheap ones dried up.
I stopped in at Buffalo trading and they told me the ATF is screwing them around on getting the gen2's into the country
Just revisiting this video... I added a third BRGl9, couldn't resist. I know how good this pistol is and I know they are starting to dry up especially at the lo prices we have seen. I paid $199.00 for this one as well. I really wanted to get one with the hard chrome slide but the only ones I could find were over $360.00 upwards of $400.00 or better. so I got another black one and sent the whole pistol out to have the slide hard Chrome plated. It'll differ from the factory as the finish will be far superior and my extractor and loaded chamber indicator and backplate will also be hard chromed. It's costing me $125.00 for the plating so that still puts me at $324.00. still under would it would have cost me to source one out that was factory hard Chromed. the plating is being done by Ford's custom gun refinishing in Florida. They've had it for almost two months looking forward to getting it back very soon. I'll probably actually post a video up about the whole experience, while I'm picking it up maybe I'll even get an interview.
The BRG9 is a really awesome pistol, from all of the reviews, both written and recorded. I have read some owners saying that it is an improved XD, because the Turkish military and police wanted this handgun, but import laws prohibited it or the tariffs were too high. So, they made their own. Supposedly, XD mags will fit it this pistol and it should also fit XD holsters.

I have one and love it, so far about 500 rounds and it's awesome! Accurate and not one ftf or fte and XD9 mags work perfectly. If you can buy it!! Got mine for about 220 at Buds. I think XD9 holster will work but I'm not totally positive.
That was one of my first thoughts when I saw it "wow an Xd9 retailing for what the price *should have been* in the first place!" _Looks like_ it would work with Xd9 holsters.

Picked this up new for $199 from Classic Firearms. It stocked out in 2 days, so I got in under the wire.
Springfield XD clone. The only difference I could see was the grip; interesting.
Our barrel and rear rail is complete Steel and also we got different trigger
please shoot couple of round you will see the difference.

Awesome review, as always. This great budget handgun is $239 at Classic Firearms at time of this post. Was $199 all last week and they go on sale from time to time. Keep an eye out and you’ll prob be able to get it on sale again in the near future. 😉

Thx for reviewing! I'm shopping handguns with grip safeties, they can be a bit hard to find outside the 1911s. Question: If you pull the trigger without the grip depressed so that the safety engages, then depress the grip without resetting the trigger will it fire?

I can see your problem with the grip. Without “GRIP ZONE” engraved in the grip could be an issue.

Another similar handgun is the Girsan MC28, it's basically a S&W M&P9 clone, and it can take CZ 75 mags, all for $200.
I got one from classic firearms recently. $199.00 plus tax and shipping. Total $260.00. Just shot it yesterday, accurate. I shot 115gr, 124gr fmj, different brands. Put about 50 rounds through it. I cleaned the gun before shooting it. Oily residue on it, in it. Cons - 1, small front sight is a dull red, not easy to see. 2, you have to rack the slide with authority or it jams. 3, I had failure to feed twice, had to remove the mag to clear. 4,
Gun has a safety lever on the back strap like a 1911, I did not even notice it during range time. 5, slide will not rack unless you hold the grip safety down.
6, gun is manufactured in Turkey. I prefer USA made to support my country. It is imported by USA company called Buffalo Cartridge Company, ammo maker. 7, slide does not have an optics cut out for red dot. I am 65 years old and, would like to shoot/practice with both iron sights and optics.
I believe you could better spend your money on guns in the $600 to $1200 range. Quality, some have life time guarantees, could save your life in a defense situation. Pay for some training also, cuts down on time to learn shooting and safety. Take a course on gun laws for your state. Get a lawyer ahead of time, to call if u do shoot someone in self defense.
You could go to prison for murder even if you think you were innocent. The court costs could bankrupt you. The gun insurance groups say they cover you, but they have fine print/clauses in their product. Find a lawyer who specializes in defending self defense cases, put them in waver. Better choices made. This is serious business. Guns are weapons for defense. Guns are for hunting wild game for food. Guns are a God given right as a self defense tool, to protect you, your family,your home.
2A is a gov right, constitutional right, protected. Learn to use a gun, safely. It is your right.
AR-15 is not an assault rifle. Only the military has fully automatic rifles.
Citizens can only have semi-automatic, one pull in trigger one shot. The AR-15 is a perfect defense weapon, against a group of multiple attackers. More ammo, more distance to fend them off. Rich people can buy very expensive methods to own a machine gun, but can only use it in a controlled manner. Be safe, learn firearm safety, get training for shooting skills. Be responsible, not like criminals or politicians that steal and lie.
I only used one mag to test fire gun. The second mag (both 16 round steel mags) was not used, tested. I will take mags apart and clean them to make sure free of oil/ debris.
I think it will get better with more wear from shooting it. For the price, it is a good
range gun.
Its just another XD. Seems worth it for the price. Other than that the striker roll pin up top will break

I have this gun. It's good. No complaints for $190 I spent buying it. The only thing is it might be a little hard to find a holster for it. Mine fits 17 rounds in the magazine no problem.

My XD mags stopped working with my BRG. The original models still work so the firearm is fine. Don't understand why XDs worked then stopped working.
How does this compare with other lower cost Turkish pistols?
I bought one of these for $179 out the door about a year ago. Can’t even buy a Hipoint c9 for that.

Dude, you are about two years behind the times on this one. The whole country had them for $189 a long time ago, and the positive reviews were posted everywhere. You also didn't put much effort into finding current prices, because they are available as I write this at $199 BRAND NEW. At $230 you got ripped off!

@@Northwoodz1961you pay shipping and sales tax on every firearm so what's your point? Unless you're fortunate enough to pick it up in person but then you still got to pay sales tax and a lot of ffls charge a background check fee. it's like life no one gets out alive.

I purchased this gun at the begining of 2023. brg does not respond to emails if you have issues with their firearms. bought a gen 1 brg9 and it would not feed underwood 147 grain hard cast bullets. emailed the company several times but never heard a word back. I would be very cautious about this company for that very reason. I've learned in life that usually you get what you pay for and this gun is cheap for a reason. 28+ years in law enforcement (police officer) taught me that when it comes to protecting your life and the life of loved ones cheap DOES NOT come to mind. In the end it was a bur around the edges of the feed ramp area which caused the repeated malfunctions. Once de-burred the gun functions as it should. Shame on me for giving cheap a chance...... You take with that what you will.....

I would buy this gun based on the overwhelming positive reviews. Despite the complaint of one person that has posted the same complaint in multiple videos. Especially if that complaint was a budget gun having a problem running 147 gr hard cast. Willing to bet that other more expensive guns would have the same problem with that round, especially initially. Buy one and enjoy it like other owners of the brg9 elite. Glad I did.
So you're complaining that a $200 gun is having problems feeding one of the most notoriously hard rounds to get to cycle in the 9mm platform? Why are you using 9mm hardcast for? This whole statement is one of the dumbest things I've read. Sounds like you wanted this cheap gun to be on par with high tier firearms. It's funny all that time as a leo talking about putting a price on your life and buying quality but on a random yt page complaining about a $200 gun that you bought expecting it to be flawless😂
