Great video....I like to press the pedal after replacing each side and so less chance of brake fluid overspilling in the reservoir, by pushing both pistons back... learnt by this mistake 😊

On my Audi A3 8V the calipers and bolts were so rusty that the bolt split in half. Please bear that in mind if your doing it yourself
Loved the vid, ive realised if you unscrew just one of the caliper bolts, either one you can just pivot the caliper away from the rotor makes things a little easier
Thanks. You are right; on most cars you can do it with just one bolt off. But as I got new bolts with the new pads it only made sense to replace both. Cheers!

Any idea what the torque spec is for the replacement bolts? Got the fun of doing all four corners and discs this weekend, I have carly so can set the E brake etc just not sure on the torque for those bolts. Cheers
Lol so be gentle with the needle-nose pliers as to not damage the wheel but then use the wheel as a jack stand.
Yep, don't use the wheel as a jack stand. As you can see i only placed the wheel underneath the vehicle, and did not rest the vehicle upon it as one would with a jack stand. It's only there to catch the vehicle on the off chance the jack was to fail. And yes it's better to use jack stands, i just prefer not to.
I have a 2016 Audi A3 8V Quattro and I can’t find rear brake kits for my car. Any help suggestions from anyone would be greatly appreciated!

The back is different, it has a electric handbrake. It needs to be put in repair mode with a diagnostic scanner before you can work on it.
