Nice work Mr Samworth, 100 hours a week working and producing videos of this quality of information,,,,you're a machine Sam.
J, thanks for taking the time to get out in the cold and sharing and talking so well. It's good to be reminded that we, as CJ staff, can have good relationships with those who have the system imposed on them for good or for bad. Good luck to you mate....you seem like a man who is happy and prosperous in the world.
Nice one Sam,,,,,,,these videos should be used in training.

Thank you Sam and J for bringing up the IPP sentence which is arguably the UKs biggest miscarriage of justice that has yet to be resolved.

I’m a retired prison officer, I couldn’t think of anything worse than watching a TH-cam channel about prison, I’ve seen some very traumatic things so you’d understand why I wouldn’t want to watch prison videos, but credit to your channel as I find it keeps drawing me back.
I was a lifer officer at a local jail when ipp was at his peak, some of those should of been mandatory life not ipp, but the majority it’s been the biggest scandal in British history, life’s have been stolen and because the politicians set up the ipp without providing the prison system the money to make it worse.
Those on low tariffs kept for years after release date because the courses are not available, and upsetting mandatory lifers not getting the courses to get them released around the tariff date

Aren't the prisons so overcrowded right now that rapists are purportedly walking free with just a slap on the wrists? It seems this could be remedied somewhat if they were freeing those who've actually served their sentences.

Wow A peek into another world. So interesting, Sam. What a lovely guest. He doesn’t seem like a threat to the public. Is that not why the IPP was implemented? Madness! Do you have you ear to the ground on any progress to abolish IPP. It would be interesting to hear a panel discuss this. Shaun could moderate. Is there a general awareness of this situation in the public?

Great Vlog as per Sam enjoy these walk and talks so much. I always thought back in the day a cop that opted for training or answering a phone and worked a radio didn’t like being at the sharp pointy end the real trainers you needed were the guys that did their
time and came back as a civvy to train THEY were the trainers that could pass on there experience. You and your like have a lot to offer in a training capacity but unfortunately you and your kind will always be usurped by some kid with a degree and there only experience comes from a book.

Hi Sam. It must have been a lovely feeling for J ( looking at the health care unit from the other side of the wall). There ( obviously) are good and bad people in the world, you and J are two of the " good un's" ( not blowing smoke up the proverbial). Thanks mate for sharing this video. God bless you and your family ( not forgetting the "Famous " Steven. ) 👍

Lets understand something from an ex officer of 14 years service
IPP sentences need re assessing at all levels as theres a minority that are well over tariff BUT not all cases sone IPP prisoners are highly dangerous people and need keeping exactly where they are

brilliant content I've been watching you for a long time but in my opinion could do with easing up with how you talk to people Sam no disrespect intended but your coming across a little sharp and arrogant maybe I'm hearing it wrong but that's how it sounds to me
