this seems like one of those chill "satisfying" titles along the lines of House Flipper and PC Building Sim. I'm gathering from what you said that the controls are not quite as forgiving as those other two games? Because one thing that makes House Flipper so great is that it's pretty easy to do all the steps and it doesn't require like super precise anything to get the tasks done, and PC building seemed like that too.
I think I will give it a try, done some models irl in the past without the paint. Had a Porsche 928 model back in the days and my cousin stole it from me! :P But he did a good job.
Paraphrasing SYPI, I do believe that this game would be great if it has real models to try before you buy. Build a model virtually can be a great help to figure out if that model is for you, understand how to do it, and avoid mistakes before you build the real thing. Since It will be free a model company could create free model DLCs to encourage people buy the physical models.
Especially if it offered some realism, like if the Star Trek VI Enterprise had continuously droopy nacelles in the game, and you'd know this would happen IRL.
Great video Caleb!! I might test my patience with this one. But I don't think it's a game for people with OCD. In case the model is not perfect, does it have the option to throw the model against the wall and then hide the pieces? 😅
So this is only model kits, not making your own models? That would be an interesting next step. In Tabletop Simulator (steam), you have the ability not only to play real life board games on a virtual tabletop with people online, but you can create your own games and script all the rules. I have so many ideas for things where I don't have to do any of the work to make them happen. ;)
Well, unless I can have a pile of shame in the back where there are thousands of dollars worth of models that I will never build or paint, this game is BS.
i gotta say this kinda thing is where i think games go too far lol. with the exception of cost, it's so much easier and rewarding to do this kinda thing in real life. if you want frustration, try playing a card game in TableTop simulator
I'm gonna claim this and see how I do with the career mode.

Yes, good point!

🤣🤣🤣 I don't think that's an option, but it should be!
