FINALLY! Just finished catching up on all of your videos. Excellent filming and editing, one of the best channels I have seen. You have a gorgeous pair of girls too! I know there’s some time lag to current and I’m fine with the wait, Mariners are typically a patient lot 😏 My wife, dog and I have lived on a boat for seven years and wouldn't trade it for the world, although I admit that summer is my favourite season. Looking forward to following your adventures. Hugs from Vancouver Island!
Woot Woot new vid!!! Hey Taylor when you guys are in a crowded anchorage try turning on your radar (before you get in) and adjust your distance rings to your liking. For instance 250 feet radius will give you a nice circle to see if any boats are in your swing range. It sure beats trying to use your eyes and guess at the distances. Another trick i use is to check distances with one of those golf range finders. I think i paid like 85 bucks for mine on amazon and i use it all the time. Have fun guys!!!
That's a great tip, thank you! In this one a few boats were all sitting wonky off their anchor making it all a bit misleading as far as where their chain was and where they would swing with the wind and/or current. We will keep that in our back pocket for sure!
Just found you guys! love your channel! my partner and I liveaboard in the summer with our dog, do you have any tips for living aboard with an active dog?
Ah thank you! We find that beaches are their best friend, and take them running and swimming as often as we can. Helps get the sillies out and cool them down!
Beautiful drone footage ❤
Great video as always nice to see you exploring😀 gorgeous scenery
