Thank you very much Sir !!! Your video is great. Very comprehensive. My machine was showing Error 05 and I was not looking forward to taking it in for an expensive service. I fixed the problem without removing any screws. I saw the water was getting into the tray inside so I took your advice to clean the little spout and it worked. @@OlegPC I stuck with the problem and got it back to the screen and I put it through another cleaning cycle because I could reach the Machine Menu. Thanks again.

@@susanmessenger9052 In general, e05 if got two ways of resolving: (1) If your machine, after got e05, starts pump, starts drainage valve (hearing clicks), send water to tray under brewing unit - the flowmeter doesn’t work properly - we need disassemble machine, clean Flowmeter, check it wires and contacts - they can be damaged or rusted.

(2) If your machine tries to send water throw water system to tray, but ,in some moment, we hear quietly working pump ( having feel that it stuck or hardly working, but don’t got out for water). This shows problem of blocked water counter in some part (maybe boiler, maybe drainage valve). If quietly works milk pump - maybe assemble of valves blocked

Interesting that you say codes 17 and 18 are power board? I am throwing a code 19 on mine and my screen flickers now and then. The Saeco manual says this too could be power board. So leap of faith, going to order one from encompass and hope it restores the machine. Miss the quality coffee it produces.

(1) Some corrections))) Error 18 and 19 - broken electronic components - in most cases Flowmeter have broken or it’s connector rusted; or water sensor inside door have problems; (2) If your screen flicks - it’s screen’s or it’s cable problem. Power board problems shows itself differently (restart machine, abort making coffee, shutdowning machine in any moment, and smoked electronic parts on board)))

@@OlegPC flowmeter was replaced last year due to scaling up, but it’s worth a look at the contacts again. Appreciate the follow up and the video Oleg! Cheers.

Flowmeter contacts horribly corroded already. Seems my black piece above the Flowmeter may be slightly leakingcausing the issue. Cleaned the contacts with emery and my machine works again! Good diagnostic help. Much appreciated.

@@TheMikeb52 My pleasure. Hope it will help. Plus more advice - in test/counters menu we can see the list of previous errors that got machine. To start this menu: then appears “Xelsis” - clicks sensors “-“ from both sides of screen in form of “Z” or “X”. There is video about Exprelia on my channel - the way of pushing (but on buttons in Exprelia case) it’s discribes as well.
