I got the Bobby and the Shohei black gold out a hanger. Thinking of including them in my submission, I mean I just started collecting baseball. I'm a football guy, so if I could always keep it as a memeto if it doesnt come back good, as the first pack of baseball cards I bought since I was a kid.

I bought my first update blaster and got a Bobby Witt jr black gold base Bobby rookie and stars of mlb Bobby and question is the sp or ssp number for the all star game 291 and a few other good rookies should I get the Bobby’s graded?

I’ve got a friend that works at PSA and any cards that have a serial number on it they run through their system and is guaranteed to get the same grade or worse. So if you want to crack a card open you would be better of submitting to a different company. Didn’t want you wasting your time or money 👍🏼

OUTSTANDING PSA revile and I'd have to say you have nothing to complain about a 73% Gem rate is HUGE especially for a 64-card submission.
I do have to let you know that not all of us can afford to send cards off to PSA. For me they're way out of my price range so I have to use other companies that are more in my price range. For the past year I've been using a company called Golden Grading I've sold most of my graded cards minus the ones for my PC and I've been selling them at like 93% to 94% to that of PSA sales. The bulk submission group I belong to have been averaging a 96% mint 9 to gem mint 10 rate.
No, Golden Grading is not easy to get 10's from, they're very tough but fair when it comes to grading cards, the owner of this company is very meticulous about the grades given to each card. If a submission hits a 20% Gem Mint 10 rate (which we do a lot, because of our care and inspection of the cards prior to submission) the owner of the company gives those cards to a different inspector to inspect the cards not letting him/her know that cards have already been inspected and got a 10's, if that inspector gives those same cards a gem mint 10 the grade stands.
When we get enough cards in for a bulk submission if we find any cards that we feel will not get a 9 or better we call the owner/owners of those cards tell them what we feel the card/cards will more than likely get and if the owner still wants to send it, we send it with the owner knowing full well it's not going to gem up at all. If the owner says don't send, we pull said card/cards and send them back to the owner/owners. Our bulk submission group's objective is to get nothing less than 9's, we want as many 10's as possible but like everyone else we're not perfect and we're going to get some 9's in the mix no matter how careful we are with the cards or how critical we are when it comes to inspecting the cards as you've found out with your submissions, I'm sure right?

I was going to ask if a 2022 Topps Update Silver Pack Black Mojo /199 of Vlad Jr. be worth sending in even though it’s not his rookie? It’s in great shape too, though not crazy valuable. Thinking long term. Also thought of sending in a Bryce Topps Black Gold Blue, but I’m unsure. Silver pack QC from Update seems to be great so far! Thanks for the quality content as always!

I have no idea how you can not check the grades on the website. I do not have that kind of discipline. I probably wouldn't sleep once they popped until they arrived if I wasn't checking the grades. I love watching these reveals to see what people are grading and getting. It was fun to see the Strider yellow that you bought vs pulled to grade. I always assume anything on ebay someone decided it wouldn't gem, but I guess you can find gems on the bay.

Question does a BGS 9.5 usually get a PSA 10 considering that Beckett 10 is very very hard to get.

Per PSA's website, their grading scale allows for up to 75/25 centering on the back for a Gem Mint 10

That is ridiculous. Isn't 10 out of 10 suppose to be perfect. If I can see that the centering is off with a naked eye then it's not perfect and idc if PSA gives it a 10 it isn't perfect and doesn't deserve it. 75/25 is a long way from perfect. PSA is terrible. The hobby needs some grading consistency and aren't getting it because PSA hand out 10 like they come in crackerjack boxes. Sad but true.
