Chanel has launched a new face primer, the No1 de Chanel Skin Enhancer or Embellisseur de Teint. This claims to be a new primer that's going to energize the skin, hydrate and unify with a beautiful glow. I ended up using two shades, Soft Pink and Medium Coral. Which one do you like best?

I am very excited to share with you this new complexion product from Chanel. This is a hybrid skincare and makeup product that can be used along or layered. I’m definitely a soft pink girl. Corals don’t work too well on me.
Soft Pink looks best under your foundation. But Medium Coral looks good if you don't want to apply foundation. 💖

What a yummy new product - twangs for showing all the options. Pink glows but Coral when you are tanning up if you do.

I just looked & We in Australia have this skin enhancer as well. I bought the pink one as we are in our winter. I think the medium coral suits your neck but of course things look different on camera ❤ so excited for this to arrive now 😆 Thanks Allison ❤

I have Sunkissed, and love it, so for me, I’d definitely be going for the Soft Pink (my skin tone is a little lighter than yours, too).

Both shades look lovely on you. Soft Pink can be used all year year round and the Medium Coral looks like it gives you more coverage and some healthy color to your face, but not changing your natural shade.

I’m exactly your skintone. And, I have the same shade of the same concealer as you have, which I absolutely love. I’m a B-30 and 40 in Sublimage foundation. I think they both look great on you. The pink side on you shows more of a glow, and it’s definitely more on the peach side compared to a true pink color. The medium coral would be great on you for summer though. I think you need both. 😂. I don’t know which shade I would choose for myself. I’ll have to see it in person. They are not that keen on giving out samples in the Chanel boutique that is near me. Looking forward to more videos and demonstrations on these.

Great video Allison. I liked the Soft Pink on you. How would the soft pink enhancer compare to the Chantecaille Rose Glow cream? I was very surprised to find this product all ready on the Chanel website. The US missed the Les Beige Rosy glow formula, which I was bummed about. I think this may be a substitute. I will be ordering. I could not find any other reviews for this product. You must be the first...good job. I can see this being a sold out product....best to be early rather than be late for the dance.

I think both look great on you but I would choose the soft pink too because it brightens up your complexion. I'm into tinted moisturizes or just wearing a little bit of concealer, nowadays, so I understand what you mean. I ordered only soft pink because I am very fair and will it pick up soon from my SA.

The darkest shade looks too orange for me and I'm black (think Lizzo's skin colour). I had the same problem with Charlotte Tilbury's HFF, too orange. You could totally mix the soft pink and medium coral together for a great look. The medium coral looks great for no makeup days. Soft Pink is better👍🏾 is this product scented?
No it doesn’t have a scent, I just sniffed it 😂

Soft pink is really look amazing but the other the medium coral looks just as nice. Maybe when you are a little tanned it would look just as nice.

I love the pink and definitely see the lifting effect you mentioned. Would you say the fragrance is the same and as much as the No 1 foundation? Asking because that didn't agree with me, sadly.

My opinion on you I prefer the coral one. It seems to give you life and a natural glow. The soft pink compared to the other almost is a white cast from what I see. Now I am looking thru a camera not in persons that is my vote. I think you look glamorous with the coral shade like being on the beach in the south of France. Just saying..

Thank you for the really helpful comparisons with the rosy glow drops and the highlighting fluid as I have both and was wondering about the differences. The Soft Pink adds light and really becomes your skin tone! That said, the Coral one looks good, and might enhance even better if you happen to tan more throughout the summer. Could you use the darkest one as a bronzer with the soft pink? (Wrote this before I finished watching…lol)

Quite right for my neutral leaning warm skin tone. I may get the peachy coral one and see if it works any better.
I wear BD41 & it’s a bit yellow. I’d like to warm it up. Maybe I can add a drop of the coral. Right now I’m using D-Bronzi but I think it thins out the foundation. This looks thicker.
Oh yes that’s a great idea! This can be added to warm up a complexion. It’s liquid but not runny.
For me I think I’ll use medium coral and add a little more of deep amber.

I like them both. Medium coral gives your skin a slight sun kiss so I would not use it with foundation. Soft pink alone or with foundation. If this comes to the US, I will buy them both because I am a B30 in the Chanel Foundation. I wonder if this is the same as the Healthy Glow cream in Rosy Beige but in liquid form. I'm confused.

I know the No1 is has fragrance, how strong is it in the primer? I think the second shade is aptly named coral, but I think it would be too warm on my light medium skin, but I also don’t want any lightening from the pink. I’m between shades I think.

I was recommended the Sublimage eye concealer in shade 10 but wear the No. 1 Foundation in shade 20. Does that make sense to you? I find the 10 washes me out & is too light & pinkish

I think Soft Pink looks best. On video, the Coral looked a bit too orange whereas the pink was a nice soft glow. I was a bit surprised at the Coral and Amber as I think they both have a very orange look about them. I ordered Pink and think I might try Sunkissed in the drops for a bit more color - I haven’t tried that one yet.

Perhaps it looks different in person, but on camera in the video, your skin looks more uniform with the Medium Coral, and it suits your colouring very well. The Soft Pink side does look brighter, but I'm not sure if it looks better. Perhaps the Medium Coral for summer and the Soft Pink for winter. I have your colouring and use your shades for foundations, and while I look to you for guidance when it comes to shades and colours, this one has me stumped. But as you say, there is no correct answer, just a preference. Let us know, please, if you do keep reaching for this product, especially now with Autumn and Winter coming. Too many layers on my face in this particularly warm summer is something I avoid.
I'm definitely reaching for the Soft Pink at the moment but if they sold them in travel sizes I would have picked up both ❤
I ordered the soft pink, I hope I"ll like it too. Lately, I feel like I simply have way too much makeup and I'd like to pare down to only those items that I truly enjoy. Fingers crossed this will be a much loved winter addition.@@AllisonChase

Similar! But the CT primer doesn’t hydrate or have skincare benefits compared to this one.
Since I do all my skincare before primer see no benefit of a primer containing skincare
