I’ll update everyone else’s names as soon as I get home!

Oh ok, just relived these 21 minutes all over again and sobbed like no ones business! This was one of the best performances of Wicked I have ever seen

It was incredible to be in this room. Felt like a concert for a big artist.

I actually didn't cry, but it was definitely an emotional show!! The people sat directly next to me are the ones crying though.

Emotional day for both the London and the New York companies in the same day!!!
Happy Trails to Lucie Jones (West End) and Talia Suskauer (Broadway)!!!

Yes! Hopefully this isn't the last time we ever get to see them in these roles, but for now all the best wishes to both of them on their new ventures. And best of luck to our "new" Elphaba's Alexia Khadime and Alyssa Fox!

@@hannahlashbrook Lucie's speech is so inspiring!!! Persistence really pays off. Can't wait to see what she does next. I'm an actor myself and I have been still auditioning for WICKED for several years to be Boq..... both on Broadway and the North American National Tour. Hearing that speech is a reminder to DEFY GRAVITY and never give up.

@@broadwaymike92 Lucie is a gem honestly! She's going over to the Sondheim for 6 months for a stint as Fantine is Les Mis in London! Needless to say, she's going to kill it.

I can genuinely say that people were sobbing the entire show and you could hear it. I have never been in an environment like that at the theatre where people were just genuinely upset at these cast members leaving and going onto new things (especially Lucie). You would have thought every person in the room gave birth to Lucie Jones with the way everyone was celebrating her accomplishments with the show and grieving her leaving. It was kind of iconic ngl she's a superstar.

@@hannahlashbrook Damn. That's insane! Lucie is probably my favourite Elphaba.

@@kcurran9913 I've seen 8 Elphaba's and she is mine as well. I think her interpretation really hit home for a lot of people and she honestly was just made for the role in every way.

@@hannahlashbrook I was lucky enough to see Wicked in London back in December. I never knew they were nearing the cast change. It was my first time seeing a musical in the West End.

@@kcurran9913 Yeah Lucie was my 2nd West End Elphaba because I had gone when I first moved back in Sept. 2021 (right before her contract started). It felt really different to me than the American production when I first saw it.
