My grandfather was treated the same way. Did 15 years of a life sentence for murder back in the 1940's until the real killer confessed on his death bed. Grandpa was tossed out of prison with $10.00 a white t-shirt and cacky pants and shoes. You did not get phone calls back then. I feel for you sir. And glad you're home.

Prosecutors and judges who abuse their power like this should be held accountable. Maybe a 25 year sentence would be appropriate. The amount of hate they must have had to do this to someone… it should be considered a hate crime. Imagine how many people have been unfairly discriminated against in the so called justice system.

Absolutely compensation is due for someone wrongly imprisoned for decades. The State must pay him back wages missed during his incarceration, as well as compensatory damages for malicious prosecution. And, while we're at it, let's call out the prosecutor and judge for the malevolent SOB's that they were. It's time to name names!

Unacceptable of the Florida justice system. He should sue the state of Florida for pain and suffering, civil rights violations time that was lost while he was stuck in prison for crimes he didn't commit. We need to do better here in the USA. The amount of racism in this country, especially down south is a disgrace. How have we all forgotten how this country was built and what we are supposed to stand for? Justice and freedom for all! 💖

And, nothing happens to the detectives and prosecutors who wronged him and allowed the real criminal to live free. Too many detectives and prosecutors care more for closing a case and getting a conviction than they do for real justice.
