If you consider the engine is 4-5 times bigger than the crap engines they are trying to impose us in Europe, the consumption is neglectable.
And if you make the ratio smiles per gallon, V8 wins:-)
I found very easy to keep V6 3.6 in Challenger GT AWD in range 9-12 l/100 km in European traffic (even below 9 on calm smooth long-range trips) and Hemi 5.7 in R/T goes out-of town easily around 12 l/100 km + in both cases they make me much more happy all the day than downsized turbo I4 in midsize car (e.g. Mondeo 1.6) with 6.5-8 l/100 km...
