Mine stopped working as left battery in (I will not do that again). After cleaning negative node with sodium bicarbonate and vinegar, worked with original battery. This video and another on cleaning battery nodes gave me the clue .

Most people would be like just buy another one. We need to drop this mentality as men actually fixed things that broke back in the days as we were not so disposable with our items. This being said things are ment to break nowadays as thats whey the company's want for more money. It's quite sad actually. I still have things my grandfather took Care of and are irreplaceable. Nice video I better take the battery out my nose/ear trimmer. Lol respect 3rd comment/like/already subbed 😉

"I still have things my grandfather took Care of..." Yea, so do I. They are called a pipe wrench, a pair of pliers, and a hammer. 😄

The way I was taught (In the US Navy's Electrician's Mate School): Secure the two pieces together (usually by twisting). Hold the soldering iron, or gun, to the wires to be soldered (try to touch both). Touch the solder to one or both of the wires, until it melts and runs. You're done! If you melt the solder with the soldering iron/gun and try to get it onto the wires, you wind up with what's known as a 'cold solder joint', which is not physically or electrically stable.
It's been so long, I almost forgot about the flux (look it up). If you're not using solder with a flux core, you should coat your work with paste flux (comes in a small tube) before heating the wires. The flux is suppose to remove any oxidation products that might interfere with getting a good solder joint. Whatever it does, all I know is that I used flux on every solder joint I made aboard ship, and I never had a call-back.
If the wire is attached to something that shouldn't get hot, hold the wire with a pair of needle-nose pliers between the joint to be soldered and the delicate equipment. The pliers will act as a heat sink and route the heat away from the delicate part.
