Great to see you both on seperate bikes and both of them mainstream regular machines ! Mate and I did a France trip this summer on a 500 and an 800, had a great time and just proves you don't need the ubiquitous 1200/1250/1300 ADV's to go on tour and have a great time ! Keep doing what your going guys, love the banter and content,
Go to France every year on the bretange. It is getting replaced with a lpg ship next year. Might be worth looking at the club voyage if you are doing it regularly. Saves me a fortune in school holidays with a caravan, note sure about a motorbike but worth a look. If you ring Brittany ferries they are usually pretty helpful around the best way to save money. I am back at millenium 23rd fir some warranty work so will have to smash one of the large breakfasts
Yeah lpg/electric the "Saint Malo" we have used club voyage for all our crossings this year get a decent discount especially on the Spanish trips so well worth it if it does become regular .... ohhh love a millenium brekky though 👍🏍
There's nowt worse than the coast of France disappearing into the distance on ya last day . There's always next year , beer o'clock and Vallet parking (shaun) 2 nice Frasers .
Hi guys. I know you have been back for some time now. But I glad you both enjoyed your well needed holiday and break. When faye got emotional. I choked. Bless her. Glad things worked out in the end for you both..take care and stay safe both...
Good call on stopping overnight! That was a big 'ask' of Faye if I'm honest, even without the chaos at Passport control. I've done both, first time I went to Spain I got off the ferry in Portsmouth and on the road around 5pm it was a gorgeous July summers evening and I thoroughly enjoyed the ride, got home after endless motorways around 8.45pm ....shattered. I was due to come back via Plymouth the following year (a four hour ride at least) I think the ferry was due in around 4pm....so, say 5pm after passport control etc, home by 10pm earliest. I booked a pub/hotel on the edge of Dartmoor to 'overnight' The ferry was slower than normal due to engine problems, then passport control were doing everything by the numbers (helmets off etc etc) I think I got on the road sometime after 7pm (so I would have been home by 11pm earliest) That 70 mile or so was the longest 70 mile I've ever rode. Never ride if it doesn't feel right or if you feel tired. (especially in the dark) Your gut instinct is always right. 👍
Yeah we had spoke about it a few times in the days running upto it, just with us having a quick turnaround when we got back we really hoped we could push through but it was 1 of those journeys where the miles didn't seem to be dropping 🤣
Another gr8 video you two , loving them, the bike looks nice, hoping to past test next year ! Looking at the 500 version ! Wishes to you both, hope the weekend was good ! Until next time Ride safe 😊
I was in England in February of this year to take care of some buisness. Being originally from Bolton I try to visit Blackpool when I visit. I stayed at Norbreck Castle back in the 70’s it was right posh. In February I went and it looked like it was derelict. Any hoot better to stay the night somewhere if you not fond of riding in the dark. Safe travels guys.
I get how you are just a tad cheesed off with the shit show at passport control. We travel from Tunisia to Italy with our bike at least 3 times a year and the ferries we use always get bikes on first and park them so that they can get them off first. It was a good call for the overnight stop given how Faye not keen on riding in the dark, safety first, far better to be late in this world than early into next one.
Yeah in all the years of touring I've never had it like this although there was only 4 bikes on the boat ... faye hates riding or driving in the dark so definitely the rite choice to call it a night 👍🏍
Hi Shaun + Faye, Bye bye France, happy to be driving on the left again. Over the past few weeks I've been enjoying your travels in Spain, Andorra and France it been a great journey to watch i bet it was nice to get back in your own bed. Catch you both soon take care

Aww thanks so much... the bikes were absolutely faultless and more than enough 👍🏍

I could have waived to you from my island as you passed by….gosh was that the sun we see…..hehe…
I know , didn't really see any sun on the crossing over but glorious on the way back
Rennes looks rather nice in the centre. I have only used the ringroad.
It was only a stop over before the boat so wasn't expecting much but loved it

Hi you 2, I bet you were so glad to be home. Looked like an amazing trip. Now of to Blackpool, it must be a hard life. 😂 ride safe.
Haha living the dream 🤣 😆
Great to see smaller bikes touring.
It was actually easy as good as doing it on the big bike 🏍
Crackin vlog as always ..good call on the hotel stop..I'd have done the same, it's a long ride home..magic..👍👍
Yeah absolutely it was a long arse day so better be safe than sorry 👍🏍

Cheers pal up until last year the 500 was the best selling bike in Italy, our mate has 1 with 13k of touring miles and it's never missed a beat 👍🏍
Looked like a great trip. I am with faye about driving/ riding at night because I eyesight is not the best at night.
Yeah she hates having to drive or ride in the dark especially after we'd been awake since 5.30am but hey ho made it back in 1 piece 👍
What's with the Bluesy music on ToT, we usually get the Rock sounds here, and the blues on B'nB!
Haha i edited this 1 and completely forgot that i use it on my own channel 😅 Faye

Yeah the camera didn't do it justice was pitch black when we stopped for fuel and could tell Faye didn't wanna carry on
Hya Shaun geat vid as always just to let you know sharrocks motorcycles penwortham have a stunning gsx1400 in stock not the cheapest though.
Hahaha just caused murder in the pub as my eyes lit up 🤣🤣🤣
@@TinsonTour Thought you might like that one a proper bike get it bought lol.
Rennes is pronounced as the bird, wren.
Yeah we found out at the hotel when we asked ... this was 5 weeks ago now 😢
Is filtering through those cars not permitted?
Nothing stopping you but its not a traffic jam it's a wait for customs so bikes have no legal right to push in
I'm glad you got home safe, guys . Cracking trip really enjoyed watching the videos. Congratulations, faye, on your first own bike tour 👏 🙌
