I like your January TBR, Zach! Mine is a bit too many, so this may spill over to February for me, but essentially a lot of books that sound good to me are coming out in January, so this is what I’m planning on (but this list is not really in order): -A Sea of Unspoken Things -A Serial Killer’s Guide to Marriage -The Note -Beautiful Ugly -Cross My Heart -The Business Trip -Witchcraft for Wayward Girls -The Last Room on the Left -The Family Inside -We Are Watching -Tell Me What You Did Now, I only average 6-8 books per month, so there will definitely be some spillover to February 😂. I just read physically and I just read at a comfortable-for-me pace, so, hence 6-8 books/month. I read Just Another Missing Person by Gillian McAllister which is the only one of hers I’ve read, but I really enjoyed it, especially the ending. So, I will be reading her new one in February fingers crossed. I’ve never read Ali Hazelwood but ended up with Bride via a subscription so I will read it in 2025 sometimes…..did you like that one? It’s a bit outside of my usuals. 😊😊
What an exciting TBR. I have already read and reviewed four of those and the videos will be coming out in Jan. If you get around to Beautiful Ugly, Cross My Heart, Witchcraft for Wayward Girls and Sea of Unspoken Things let me know what you thought about them, I am very curious. I have read Bride, sadly I did not enjoy that one but I think it taught me an important lesson which was that paranormal romance really isn't for me. You should still give it a try you might surprise yourself. It sounds like Just Another Missing Person was a good one for you, I will have to put in a hold at the library!! I will also be reviewing her new one at the release. We have a lot of overlap in our reading, how exciting :) I hope January is a great month for you!
@ I’ll definitely let you know what I think after I read the four you’re curious about.👍😊. I hope we both have great reading in January and beyond 💫☀️.
Hi Zac! Looks like you are all set up for a successful reading month in January! My month of December has remained surprisingly productive with reading. Here are the December prompts from your grid that I've completed so far: - Want to read before 2025 : Paris: The Memoir - Paris Hilton - Roll a dice: Dashing Through the Snowbirds - Donna Andrews - New release: What Does It Feel Like? - Sophie Kinsella - New release: Apprentice in Wonderland - Ramin Setoodeh (listened to the audiobook in one evening, found it very entertaining) - Borrowed Book (from library): The No-Show - Beth O’Leary - Audiobook: The Echo Wife - Sarah Gailey I'm in the middle of reading Christmas by the Book by Anne Marie Ryan and it's done really well, with humour and likeable characters. On audiobook, I'm 2/3 into The Looming Tower: Al-Qaeda and the Road to 9/11 (not exactly Christmasy, but gotta grab the audiobooks in the order the reservations become available) and I'm giving The Other Half from Charlotte Vassell another try in audiobook form as I had the physical book from the library and could not get into it. This one might become a DNF. I have time off from the office coming up, but also family that will be visiting, so I'm unsure how much reading will get done before the end of the month. I hope you recover from your cold really fast and that you have a wonderful holiday season. Wishing you all the best for 2025 - may it be happy, successful and enjoyable!
You are smashing the Dec. prompts look at that!!!! I hope you enjoyed the No Show, I loved that book!! I also really enjoyed The Echo Wife. Can't wait to hear about your month when it's all over. Also, how exciting to have some off from work, we all need it. I hope you have a cozy, comforting and happy holiday season. :) Thanks for sharing about your reading.

I made a yearly bingo for my new tiny bookclub 😅
