Obstacles are no different than an odd shaped field.. that's some easy cutting!! We can cut at 8 to 12 mph, but most fields aren't smooth enough for that.. so 5.6 to 6.5.. get it done 👍

The land owner keeps the land registered as organic...only thing I can do is livestock manure but there are some organic based fertilizers that I could use but has to be approved by the company the land is registered with
Zickels vs rotary? Seems slow😁 I usualy drive 10-12 km/ h depending of how fat the crops are and the condition of the field. And ofcorse the Big boys around here goes15-18. Dont know of try are using 4 Point safetybelts

Yeah my alfalfa has some poor spots even with all the rain so there must have been frost and then we got hail too, it'll make bales tho
Same here... Some places the alfalfa is marginal, other places not bad. At least the grass has been really good carrying the load.

I think the frost has alot to do with marginal to poor yields
You need it carry a book in tractor and mark down thing that need attention and do in winter
hope the weather holds, I think maybe ya might get around a 100 bales maybe more ... hopefully

Why is it organic? What can you use as fertilizer still be organic? Here most use certified organic poultry litter
