In Seattle there was a small but vocal Drew Locke faction.
Not enough for it to be a controversy but he won a lot of Seattle fans over.
We were definitely sorry to see him go, but hopefully, he will get to start at some point.
Broncos fan here. Drew Lock is a legitimate starter. We fucked him and his growth with our revolving coach and coordinator door.

As a seahawk fan he’s definitely not good enough to be a starter😂 that one game he played he sucked till the last drive and was complete luck. That game was painful to watch with every drive going 3 and out
Problem with my Giants is not the QB its the O-line. Its been our issue since Eli smh
The qb play has been terrible since the year Eli won it all, the giants haven’t had a top ten qb since
I'd argue QB, O-line, and WR are equally to blame. The line has been a mess for a long while and it makes establishing the run game and tapping into the longer developing passing plays near impossible, but Jones hasn't done himself any favors either when they do manage to do their jobs. He just looks overwhelmed at times even with clean pockets and the run game clicking. Part of that is on the lack of elite talent at WR and the inconsistency of the line up with guys being injured so frequently, but Jones also just misses a lot of opportunities. I've seen him play in person a fist full of times now and he just doesn't see guys getting open down field.

As a Broncos fan I will say I NEVER felt like Lock got the coaching or development he deserved. I wish him the best of luck with the Giants. He deserves the shot. He would have performed much better in Denver than Russ...
In russes first year, his stats were worse than drew😂. Ive loved drew since day 1
You can say the same thing about Daniel Jones. 3 different head coaches, 3 different playbooks and a host of teammates disappointing him on a consistent basis. Whether its the offensive line not blocking for him or his receivers dropping the ball at critical times, DJ has been screwed over by the organization just like Eli was screwed over his last years.

Drew has been intriguing to watch. When he's been given an opportunity, he's shown he can ball. Denver, with the revolving door of coaches and talent, doesn't count as much as people think. Im Seattle he had limited time and i was super impressed. I think he'll push for the starting job. And he's got a beautiful deep ball, G-Men are built for it this year.
Drew Lock starting for the Giants means that they are tanking to have another crack at drafting a QB in the top 10 of next years draft 😆

Think you’re going to find that Drew Lock better fits Brian Daboll and what he likes in a QB much better than Jones. He’s got more of a skill set similar to Josh Allen than Jones. Big arm, athletic, sees the field well. His ability to work through progressions improved quite a bit while in Seattle.

He has everything you could possibly need in a QB. Yeah he’s made some poor choices in lobbing the football for a INT, but he was a rookie in an atrocious staff and organization in Denver. Give this guy a shot in a consistent organization that truly backs him and he’ll do great things.

Jones will have to fail big time for Lock to see playing time. I think it is unlikely that Lock will win the starting job. Giants have 4 years and $40 million invested in Jones. They are not going to change horses midstream.

I haven't seen a QB like Nathan Rourke since Joe Burrows. If the NYG have any hope they'll play Rourke. More Bowl championships than jones & lock combined. Better Stats on every level. Blows my mind how he's over looked.

Daniel Jones had to win a competition in the first summer Shoen and Daboll took over. And at the time the Giants decided not to take up his 5th year option and Shoen and Daboll decided to bring in Tyrod Taylor, a guy with starter exp and exp in a Daboll offence. He was probably favourite to lose that competition. You guys forget about that? Or just deciding to forget it to talk rubbish?

Lock looked very good for the Hawks. His reads were quicker he would get the ball out quicker and lets all be real that boy has a arm. He improved and was at Geno's level or better. Geno wouldn't have beat the Eagles, he couldn't beat the Steelers. I am a Hawks fan and would 100% rather have Drew Lock than Sam Howell. He will win the starting job in New York if he gets a fair chance something he didn't really get in Seattle. The talent is there no doubt and he seemed to be putting the other pieces in place.

Jones is a good QB. '22 he put up a good season once their run game came back. Problem is Giants O Line falling apart in 1.5 seconds every snap. Lock has no chance cuz he isnt as big or athletic as Danny Dimes and his 22 mph legs.
