Hi team! 💜 I've now also got a printable of the ideas that I listed in this video 😄 Link for if you wanted to check it out: www.patreon.com/posts/what-to-include-48697492
Right now I enjoy a 'good vibes' page where I just put in stuff that makes me happy or makes me laugh (or just some dumb comment of mine). I did it in December because I knew that it would be stressful, this month just for fun and next month because it will be stressful again.
One layout I started doing a few months ago and have been loving is a productivity tracker. Working from home now makes it easy to fall off track and i want to motivate myself to give myself a good productivity rating for the day haha
What I always put on my monthlies, the spreads are: cover page, quotes, monthly calendar, habit/sleep/expences/steps/mental health check list and productivity level trackers, memories, one line a day, hit list(songs that I come across during the month) and weeklies. This year I started to use word of month and monthly review in form of "a letter to myself".
I had some free space bugging me in my bujo and was wracking my brain for a good spread to use -- this couldn't be more timely! Thanks for your hard work! ♥ Oh, and for my staples -- I absolutely need a habit tracker and drinks tracker (I can't tell when I'm thirsty, so it's a lifesaver), a small monthly overview, and expenses. My expenses overview used to be a running list that I updated whenever I bought something non-essential, but I've found that having that set aside specifically with each month has let me be a lot more mindful with purchases.
This was great. I started bu-jo in July but stopped after 2 months when my dad passed and then i was diagnosed with breast cancer. I did notice i was more productive when i was doing it. Have mentioned to a few friends & they want to start. I created a bullet journal to sell on Amazon KDP for a beginner like me so i am setting up a night for us to create. This video will help tremendously
Great video and list! I saw so many that I'd like to try and followed just about everyone else you referenced. I'm finishing my planner for this year and want to try a Bullet Journal for 2022. Thank you for this video!!
What a great video! I’ve picked up a few for my new monthly setup. Thanks a lot🥰 My stable pages are: • Monthly set up ( inspired by Carroll himself) • Goal page/ action page (where I put my calculations on goals of that month and the results by week) • Memories page (big events and how I see them) • Lessons of the month • Stop/cont/start page (aka where I plan my new month) • Fav page ( things I like/ do in that month)
I consistently have a cover page, monthly calendar/overview, productivity tracker and habits, mood, and mental health tracker. I've added daily Rune tracking only recently, but it helps me stay rooted in my faith. I also include a monthly review page where I track my successes and challenges, what to work on, and songs and movies I watch/listen to :)
The layouts I use consistently on my Monthly pages are: - A cover page, with the many aesthetic of the month and also the word of the month! - New songs - where I track all the new songs I’ve added to my main playlist and pick one that I believe represents my entire month - A merge between a sleep log and mood tracker in a graph form, where I also calculate my average time slept on the entire month - And some weekly pages, with daily tasks. Im planning on adding a Habit Tracker and a Screen Time Tracker, but I'm still trying things out to see how they work!
I have a screen time tracker, and I love it. It’s like a bar graph and each day has the bar, which is sectioned unto the different aspects of my screen time. The habit tracker is also something I use, and I enjoy it. It’s pretty simple though.
I always put a sleep tracker in my monthly set up! I am a college student so I like to see how sleep, or lack there of, affects my mood and productivity
For my Jan setup I had these spreads, but for Feb I wanna change things up. Spreads in Jan: -quote page -cover page -calendar page -things I am into -birthday countdown -daily doodle -prompts for the daily doodle -habit tracker -mood tracker -to do -screen time tracker -weeklies -memories -notes Spreads Planned To Have In Feb: -bye Jan -cover page -calendar page -things I am into -daily doodle -prompts for the daily doodle -habit tracker -mood tracker -screen time tracker -weeklies -memories -notes Feb will have 26 pages instead of 27, I am adding the extra spreads to my weeklies because I realized that they needed more pages. I planned all the spreads that I needed and make sure that I had the right amount for each month so they can fit in my journal. My journal only has 180 pages (counting the double sides and stuff) and I am using it for 6 months, so I planned to make sure that it would fit, hehe. Hope that all made sense.
Im new to ur channel, the thing ive taken away the most is the quotes idea. I totally love the postive outlook u have for the new month. Look forward to watching more vids. Stay safe lovely x
Hi, Jess! The monthly layouts I always include are the habit and sleep trackers. I have recently incorporated the productivity tracker and, after a couple months of trial and error, it's finally working for me.
The main inspiration I got from this is a monthly summary page of some sorts. I'll think about what makes sense for me. but that is something I have never done that I think would be useful.
Watching this for ideas. I don’t really like cover pages. Probably because I can’t draw well so I need lots of mixed media to make it work. I also don’t like list as I feel that they box me in too much and if I don’t complete things I don’t like seeing that on the monthly page. I think my favorite is a brain dump. No expectations. Just what I’m thinking 💜
Currently I try to include a quote page, cover page, monthly overview, habit/mood tracker, self care bingo, memories/review page and a finances overview. The last two spreads are new to me, but I want to use them for a couple of months to figure out if they work for me.
Good idea! I do find that using spreads for at least a few months to really see if a layout works for me to be helpful; could have just tried to start it in a particular good/bad month or something 🤔😄💜
This is so damn Helpful!! ❤❤😍 I truly appreciate that you made this video! I’m a beginner for journaling and was having trouble on how to start my first journal, but I’ll keep these in mind!
Every month, I have a calendar, a monthly task list, a a tending list (daily, weekly, and monthly tracking items), a budget overview, and projects list for bigger, multi-step things I have going on I want to make progress on. I also have a weekly for every week and do daily pages.
Some great ideas in this video, thanks Jess! I keep saying that I'm not a bullet journaller, but honestly, my daily routines and habits Happy Planner is starting to turn into a sort-of-kind-of bujo - just a discbound one instead of a book-based one (I just keep wanting to not call it that because I don't do any kind of task management or actualfax planning through it)
For me, at least right now, each monthly setup includes a cover/splash page, a calendar spread, habits, and a memory page . I also have a tracker for my physical therapy, but that’s not a staple, just something I need at the moment as I recover from an injury.
Thank you for that very useful and great video ! :D I reccomend also the master groceries list which is so useful when you have to do groceries, but wanna make sure you forgot nothing :)
More years I use bullet journal more minimalist I am. Every month I have a monthly calendar, a budget, a brain dump/to do list, sometimes I put a habit tracker or a goals for month page in there. Then I have my weeklys.
Cool idea's~! ^^ I've tried a few of them in the past 2 years but right now I'm only having a spending tracker in all my monthly's. I'm tracking some other things you mentioned yearly tho so I do have them in my BuJo but not monthly. ;D Like a health tracker, cleaning/chores tracker and wish list/bucket list. I would also LOOOOVE to track my dreams but I dream way too much and way too long. I would have to write a whole book every week lol ps: Goodness.. I just couldn't figure out what the drawing at 11:44 was... I stared and stared... The only thing I saw were some teeth and 2 lopsided teeth on the side. O_O But after a good few minutes, I saw it was a couch! O_O
the ideas here are fantastic! i wanted to ask you about the spending tracker/log that you showed that looked like your layout with the rainbow--- is there a post somewhere where i can look at the tracker?
Can you read my mind? I needed two spreads for my bujo cause I kind of sectioned it and planned all the spreads and stuff, and I took away a couple spreads that weren’t being used, and I needed to repurpose them. I was needing ideas, and then you posted the video. So again can you read my mind?
It would be great if you did a PDF of all these ideas. It goes so fast and you write so tiny 😊. The Weekly one too. Note that I aspire to be able to write tiny - I get like 4 to 5 words max on a row in an A5
Hi team! 💜 I've now also got a printable of the ideas that I listed in this video 😄 Link for if you wanted to check it out: www.patreon.com/posts/what-to-include-48697492
Great ideas! Self-care bingo is a new idea to me that I'm in love with.
Right now I enjoy a 'good vibes' page where I just put in stuff that makes me happy or makes me laugh (or just some dumb comment of mine). I did it in December because I knew that it would be stressful, this month just for fun and next month because it will be stressful again.

Thanks! Rewatching and really appreciating these ideas AND all the idea and inspiration links!
Aww thank-you Angela! 💜😄 Glad you're getting value!

I would love to see you track your nail polish color choices each month, or track the nail art that you do 😁
Sleep, expenses, habits and mood are my go to pages. I rarely deviate but I’m thinking of adding a reading page if I pick up on my reading.
What I always put on my monthlies, the spreads are: cover page, quotes, monthly calendar, habit/sleep/expences/steps/mental health check list and productivity level trackers, memories, one line a day, hit list(songs that I come across during the month) and weeklies. Really enjoyed the little screenshots to showcase the point/idea. It’s a nice inspo glimpse, without being to overwhelming.
Thanks Steph! 😄💜

Awesome that having an expenses overview has paid off like that for you! 😄💜 I find mindful spending to be a challenge of mine

Hi, Jess! The monthly layouts I always include are the habit and sleep trackers. I have recently incorporated the productivity tracker and, after a couple months of trial and error, it's finally working for me.
Yay that’s great! 😄 I was planning on bringing back the productivity tracker for my February setup and totally forgot, haha! 🤦♀️
Very usefull information! Thank you for sharing.

Disc bound tracker bujo, woohoo 🥳 😄 I reckon it counts 🤔😛

Good tip! It can certainly be helpful to have as a kind of "trigger list" (to trigger you into remembering what you need that is!)

I sort my tasks by type in my monthly. I have four areas: home, school (which is work, as I am a professor), property and bujo
Can you read my mind?

Oh hi! 💜😄
Some great Ideas. I like a quotes page after a cover page, mood tracker and memories. Others are trial and error, so month to month they change.
