There's a way quicker way to do this: - instead of chopping clips, use sliceX. It lets you do that in the comfort in your piano roll. Someone also made a template to allow sliceX to control visuals, removing the need to manually create visuals - Using an autotuner like kerovee let's you control the pitch only using a piano roll, at the expense of audio quality. However, you can use keyboard controller to link notes to automation values TL;DR if you can theoretically think of an easier way to do something, it likely exists.
I use kerovee in audacity and I totally agree with the “expense of audio quality” statement. Sometimes it will completely ruin it and Ill just have to pitch it normally
i did try this method when i started making ytpmvs, i immediately realized that the amount of clips ill be making is a lot so i decided to make the stretched clips in vegas in my later videos so the visuals will be edited with it, i just render the audio back to fl studio for mixing, for long notes i use fl studio sampler and make a loop using edison basically vegas for lots of stretching like the lead melody, and fl studio for samples with less amount of stretch or doesnt need stretch at all, the result for me is a video done in 6-12 hours, its real fast
I have previously tried doing YTPMVs on FL Studio, but from my perspective it seems more harder, I have used Vegas Pro from the start, but I have seen that FL Studio offers some audio editors that make it sound better, in fact I sometimes individually use some effects there to then put the audios on Vegas, so I might try to use it sometimes, and this was a great introduction to it.

I'd like to see how you manage to get the vocals without the original background music. Do you mix the original songs by hand or throw them into a program that does it for you?
Why did you make the "S" into a separate sample instead of including it with the rest of the first syllable as "Mis"? Another thing, how do you sync your visuals?
I could be wrong, but I might as well let anyone trying this method know that the "make unique" option (seen at 3:09) is not available to demo users. So if you have a trial version of FL studio, you're kinda fucked.
