This is truly worship music. as I was driving today, I couldn't help but think this. Not at all knocking the rest of the 116 crew (Trip Lee also does not compromise and speaks about sin and truth), but there is a clear difference. I love Andy and Lecrae, but I feel that there has been some compromise, when you compare to how hard they went for the Lord in the beginning of their careers. Don't get me wrong, their stuff is still much more listenable, especially for Christians, than anything on the radio. I pray Hulvey continues worshipping on his tracks!

I spent a majority of my youth pretending to be someone I wasn’t. I wanted so desperately to be cool, to be noticed, to be liked..I didn’t like who was staring back at me in the MIRROR.

I can’t believe I deviated from Gods path. Was abusing drugs, hanging with the wrong crowd. I was a different person. One day I just couldn’t handle it anymore, started to pray again and go to church, started to have actual convos with God. Started to pray for my enemies and everyone I could. I’m praying I get this job that’s a bit far from my family but I believe God wants me there, never been this excited for a job. I’m going to keep praying and studying, I know what purpose God has for me. I’m so glad I found Hulvey, his music has strayed me away from secular music 🙏🙌

Watching this video makes me remember when I got baptized. I used to get told all the time to go get baptized but I didn’t want to because I didn’t understand what it meant to be baptized. But when I got saved, gave myself completely to Christ, I finally knew that I needed to get baptized. I needed the old washed away with the spirit of the world, and be made new with the Holy Spirit through Jesus Christ! Thanks Hulvey for this song!🤙🏼

I am speechless brother. Since I heard this song I felt rivers of living water, when I saw this video even more. What a glorious and important day in our lives, to go to the water, to be baptized, identifying ourselves with the death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. Hulvey, you are very blessed brother, the Lord keep adding grace day by day in your life.
I spent a majority of my youth pretending to be someone I wasn’t. I wanted so desperately to be cool, to be noticed, to be liked..I didn’t like who was staring back at me in the MIRROR.
I LIED to sound interesting, I LIED to appear funny, I LIED to get anyone to notice me.
I wanted GIRLS to notice me...I was constantly chasing that relationship with ANYONE..
Since 2nd grade, constantly seeking the opposite sex.
In 6th grade, I began to think about sex..alot
I began to “self satisfy” any chance I got.
Looking back at the habits I developed in that mindset...it makes me hang my head in shame.
My Grandparents divorced, my parents divorced..it only made sense I was seeking that “intimacy”...any intimacy would do the job..
Habits I developed in my youth, overflowed and poured over into my Adulthood..almost cost me my marriage, my relationship with my children..it almost cost me my LIFE..

I was so terrified that I committed the unforgiven sin, I was unsure. I watched Billy Graham and said the sinner's prayer and talked to God for a sign that if I had committed the unforgivable sin but now I know I haven't. I have my Bible out and reading Matthew, I wanna get closer to God and be in Heaven. I want to spread the word of God, I want to be in Heaven, I want to go to the Lord Jesus, so from now on.
