Thanks for viewing! The color from the fairings is a nice blue but it is not an exact color match. Legally they can’t. It’s off a shade or two. You’ll notice when you’re up close but from a few feet away you can’t tell. The fairing bolted right up no problem. If you want an exact color match get them unpainted and have some local paint with the Yamaha blue from colorrite. It won’t be cheap though for the paint
I got same kit, would you mind explaining how you got the windshield on when there’s plastic in the way, so the shield doesn’t necessarily fit very well
Yes the windscreens are hit or miss. I removed a little material to make it fit better around the posts in the fairing and get all the bolts just started before bolting down helps to get it in line. You can also seek out other windscreens
I'm thinking about buying a kit for my 23 Hayabusa, in comparing OEM farings to these, what do you think about the thickness and quantity of the material used ?? Meaning, I could take a stock panel off my bike and bend it, it would crease without breaking, do you think the panels from NT fairing would crease if bent or do you think they would break?? Thanks and bike looks good
The thickness and quality are good. They do have some flex but I wouldn’t take a flat panel and try to bend it in half. Oem fairings seem to have the most flex available. Of course all fairings have a limit of how far that flex can go. They will have enough flex to mount on to the bike and move into position if the hole is off a bit
Nice. I included a link for this exact kit in the description. I bought a set off Amazon years ago and used my Amazon points ( I had like $60 in points lol) I also included a link to there store in the description as well
I bought a NT fairing kit and had so much trouble getting it together. Thanks for this video bro
@@farzali6458 what year make model? All the sets I got fit pretty well. It was probably install error
In person does the colour match the oem tank colour exactly ? Did you have the make any adjustments to make fit?
