Thanks for all the positive feedback everyone! Right now I'm busy shipping the EEW Nano, but I have sent this to a few beta testers and have a list of improvements to make based on their feedback and suggestions people have made online. I'll be doing another beta unit and it will be even better.
Absolutely love the Nano - it works beautifully for me with very little tinkering or adjusting. I can't WAIT to see (and back) the EEW 5.x - The Nano has me hooked on e-spinners, which I was not expecting, and I'm really liking your designs. Looking forward to more great things, Maurice :~)
Very attractive, quiet and the battery box is a wonderful idea; just makes it more professional looking and aesthetically pleasing. Totally agree with sliding hooks. Since band is simple fix then great but who actually spins at that rate lol Wonderful improvements from 5.2. (Which is a wonderful wonderful wheel). Thanks for your creative/engineering brain!!!!

Looks great so far. I like where the different buttons are placed and the bigger loops on the hooks (could be even bigger). A few suggestions: Neodym magnets to attach the battery pack and some way to attach the leader yarn to the bobbin (maybe holes in the shaft).
Would like a non solid bobbins. Like, make them out of clear material or holes (see Akerworks bobbins). For a bigger unit, it be great to see through and see how full the bobbin is.
Man that looks nice... I'm getting my first wheel for my 18th bday (so far I've only used a drop spindle) and around $100 is the price range, so I'll have to stick to the 1.1 Nice designs man, I'm excited
