- Join me as I give a thorough tour of my 2023 Lund 1875 Renegade. I will show all of the features of the boat and give a honest review of the boat. I will also cover some of the equipment I've added to the boat including the Garmin Force trolling-motor and the Garmin ECHOMAP UHD 93sv. The Lund 1875 Renegade is one of the top Aluminum Bass Boats on the market today so I hope my review will help you in your research for a new bass boat.

The square head screw is a Canadian invention. I’m 50 years old and they’ve been around here longer than I’ve been alive.
It’s called a Robertson and comes in a 0,1,2&3 size. #2 Robertson is the most common.
Each size screwdriver has its own colour to quickly identify the size.
#2 Robertson is red.
They don’t strip anywhere near as easily as a useless Phillips head. All wood and decking construction is Robertson here in Canada.
🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦 you’re welcome from Canada
Dewalt makes the No 2 square head bit for the screws on the boat. Better for torque vs Phillips. Easy to find.
Thanks for the tip.
Its better for many reasons one other than torque is they less likely to strip out as a Phillips heads will very easily strip n then it's a huge issue!
I have a pro-v bass and also don’t like the seats. Good review and nice boat
Thanks for making the time to make this.
Thinking of buying on of these in a couple of years.
Hope you make a 1 year review
Great review
I have a 2022 1875 and run a Powertech PTR3 18p prop I get 47-48 mph @ 6250 rpm fyi and have tried just about every prop out there and this is the best one imho. Also the 2022 seats are better than those. So if you can find you 1 for the front, I would recommend it, they are different. I have the Lund guard floor with the marine Matt and love it.
Very nice boat with good review
Thank you 😁
Very nice boat
Hows the ride compared to a glass hull? Get yourself a red Robertson screwdriver.
I've never owned a glass boat so I can't make a fair comparison.
Nice boat. Just bought a 1875 renegade. Pick it up next week. Was wondering what size trolling motor you are running? A 45??54. Length?? Thanks
The Garmin Force comes in a 50" or 57". I have the 50". Have fun with your new boat.
Thanks. Ya it came with 2 hummingbirds so I am gonna put a Minn kota on it
Ya I’m just debating whether to get a 45 inch or 54 inch shaft and motor. Do you have any idea about how far under the surface your 50 inch is under water.
Great review> Do the 2 cockpit seats swivel and can the passenger seat be removed so to have a flat floor surface?
Yes and yes. 😃
Question
Is the back ladder used to get in and out the boat while it’s on the trailer or is it the the stand on the finder and leg swing like old school
Make a video
I've not yet used the back ladder but my assumption is that it is meant for getting in and out of the boat on the water.
Thx for the review. How does it ride in rough water?
Also, how long is it with the swing away tongue opened up.
Curious if I can fit it in 22ft garage. Thx
I've not yet had it in extremely rough water but I can honestly say it handles choppy water much better than my old boat. I'm sure a ProV would be much better in rough water than the ModV but I'm impressed with it so far. Full boat/motor/trailer length is 22' 5".... folding the swing away tongue will buy you about 2 feet. Keep in mind the width is 8' 2"... it's a tight squeeze in to my garage.
I just ordered a 24' 1775 with 90hp. I want to swap stock prop out for a spit fire 4 blade. I had a tracker 175txw that I swapped stock prop out for a spit fire and loved it as well. hole shot time was cut in half with almost no loss of top speed. My tracker had a 60hp and I ran a 10.1x14 spitfire. Wondering what size I should run on my new Renegade w/90hp? any ideas? or know a dealer that I could call? my dealer doesn't know as they don't sell many Renegades at all. (up here in tip of the mit) mostly big water boats coming from this dealer.
Not sure what to use on a 90hp.
How do you access the area where you can replace your pumps or anything dealing with the back of the boat?
Can I please ask you where did you get the big bungee to hold your seat down because I have the same problem with my seats in my Express can you tell me where you purchase those so I can see about getting some for myself, thanks
I honestly don't remember where I got it. Found it in a box in my garage. It was probably some kind of tether or leash for kayak accessories. What you want to look for is something about 2 feet long with loops on each end instead of hooks. Just put the loops over the pole on the bottom of the seat and you're good to go.
No 2 square bit find them at lowes
Thanks for the info.
How's it fish Nockamixon?
Fishes Nock great but I can only run the trolling motor there.
How does the boat handle in rough water?
Not as good as a deep V but surprisingly well for a Mod V.
I have been eyeing the Lund Pro V Bass 1875.
I'll never understand why boat companies put the rod lockers in the center.
