I could appreciate clubbing and nightlife there but I also understand that I was surrounded by a lot of toxic people and situations. I definitely think that growing up in the Azores is more healthy & peaceful.

But when it comes to real estate, best most luxury houses are on Sao Miguel and easiest to travel back to mainland & meet tourist & people so it comes to personal preference 🥹🙏❤️🤗
Praia da Vitoria, ang4a do Heroismo, porto matheus, porto da Cabo, Sao Sebastiao, Porto Martins, Porto Judeo, Parco das Merendas, biscoitos, Hila das Cabras, Monte Brasil, Pico Alto and back. Wr stayed at Praia daVitoria, we rented a car and we went around the entire isle. Porto Martins piscinas naturales was our preferred swimming site. L9ve Terceira, we will come back

My mother was born here. I was born at lajes Air Force base. My mother worked on the base and met my father 60 years ago. I always ponder her decision to leave such a beautiful place with beautiful people. For the U.S. ??? When i retire in 15 years, im returning to my mother land. The place i should have been along. I plan on being buried in the soil, on which i was conceived.
Thank you for sharing 😊🙏 I believe it is different now to what it was back then. The Azores were suffering in poverty and harsh conditions. Fishing was a main source of income and survival. The US was a golden pocket back then and so no wonder they wanted a better future. ☺️🙏 Highly recommended watching Netflix series "Turn of the tide" ❤️ Fun story about the Azores back in the day and about load of cocaine flooding the beaches of Sao Miguel. I believe you will enjoy the series 😊😊🙏🙏❤️❤️ Hope your plans fall through and you will be able to return home 🏡❤️🙏
