@@sofi360More than not being good, it's that they are not beginner friendly, and hard to listen for the first time. To be honest the first time I heard super and maestro I didn't like them. Part of it was because I listened to them without watching the mv, and the other part is because they are hard to digest at first. However after hearing them again while watching the mv, they've grown to be one of my favorite songs. And I want to point out that I didn't force myself to like them, I was just bored and rewatched them cuz I had nothing to do.heck I can't say I'm an svt fan

Yeah, bc there's a lot of non K-pop fans(or K-pop "haters") who've reacted to K-pop or a K-pop group for the first time, with most of the songs either being brand new or a little more recent and they liked/loved them. I honestly think it depends on the person, whether they're open minded enough or just love music and based off of what ppl are saying in the comments(I haven't watched the vid due to it), regarding his/their remarks... he appears to be more on the single minded side(no offense to him). It's best to do what we've always been doing... agree to disagree and just keep it moving. All the songs suggested are controversial ones. Fear and Ready to Love were hated down when they were released, Maestro had the both the fans and the non-fans divided, some liked it and some hated it, and the rest of the two are sub-unit songs that are not vocal heavy (coz, well they are not vocal team's). I am of the opinion that a lot of the recent seventeen releases have not touched the quality of their earlier ones like don't want wanna cry, aju nice, etc. And those are what I believe are truly representative of seventeen's music. Actually, I wish y'all reacted to Seventeen's Killing Voice episode instead. It's a show where kpop idols go to sing snippets of their songs, title tracks and b-sides alike, and Seventeen's Killing voice episode in particular has actually attracted a lot of new fans/ carats ever since it's release. Their vocals shine in that show as well. I STRONGLY recommend you two to watch it/ react to it together because I really feel it's such a shame that these were the songs that was being suggested for people who know nothing about Seventeen's discography in the first place. First listens with these songs is not easy.
You don't have to like seventeen but these song choices were abysmal. Leaving out their hits and then put two out of three unit songs in this is such a bad choice... This "Minghao" gave you a list of his favorits and not the best ones to get into the group. Giving a performance team song to reactors that aren't interested in performance and music videos is crazy! Lalali is a bob same as Cheers to Youth by the Vocal team but that conviniently isn't in the mix... Also I get that you didn't like the songs but don't unnecessarily make fun of the group. They came from a small company with little to no funds and build themselfs up to beat the curse of the 7 year mark and are now in their 10th year after being told by everyone that they wouldn't make it. They aren't just self produced but self made and one of the closest groups in the industry, according to everyone who works or interacts with them in the industry. First they aren't talking about Post Malone! Its Karl Malone who has made the most free throws in NBA history. Second SVT and kpop in general isn't just as simple as the music in your ears. It's about the whole experience. The production of the song is going to match the lyrics, the mv, the styling and the dance and vice versa. All of those are going to be working together and tell a story, convey a whole vibe or be something closer to experiencing art. For example when you said Fear felt hollow or like it was missing something, i loved that you felt that way. It's meant to make you feel that way. It's what the song is about. Anyway. Im not as salty that you aren't fully into it. Everyone has their own tastes. I also think you can take any song from SVT. It doesn't have to be a hit song. I will say that you guys may actually enjoy the B sides more over kpop title tracks though. I hope you will one day try more seventeen out. SEVENTEEN might be 13 members, but they're probably THE most balanced and well-rounded boygroup in the entirety of kpop. And I'm saying this as an avid follower of kpop. I’ve watched a lot of first time reactors but I’m surprised to see these songs on a first time reaction to Seventeen. Not sure what to feel after watching this video. Thanks anyway!
Though I actually understand where you guys are coming from, that these songs are probably not the best introduction to seventeen (I would not pick these either) I find it a bit amusing that almost everyone is saying these guys dislike the songs this much because the recommendations completely suck. Now, yes, these are not my favorite seventeen songs especially ready to love 👀, but they are still not horrible AT ALL. I personally really love lalali, fear and maestro has kind of grown on me. The person who recommended these might have genuinely liked them (and I think seventeen really like them as well 🤧) You guys are going ahead to recommend songs like don't wanna cry, left and right, aju nice, hit and so on, but I can almost guarantee that they would not like those songs any better 😐 Judging by their reactions, I feel the need to conclude that 70% (if not more) of svt's discography would not be their taste. I don't see the need to recommend more and endure more pain 🤧😭 Their label is literally 'Kpop Hater' it should not come as too much of a surprise after clicking on this video that they don't like these songs (not that I understand why they are then bothering to react to them though) I do want to comment on the comment about the size of their group. It works for them, the line distribution works fairly well. Some members shine more in some releases, others in others. They've been together for many years with the fandom, and no one has a problem with it. So I am pretty sure it works for them. There's no need to say having 13 members on a song is 'dumb' or something they 'shouldn't' do.

The only song I knew of SEVENTEEN before watching you guys' reaction was Left and Right and I love it, but sadly wasn't in this lineup. Also, those songs weren't nearly as bad as you guys make them out to be. It was a first time listen for me as well and I thought they were all good songs and whatever you guys criticized was weird and oddly knit picky. Not a fan of this reaction tbh. Maybe the next one will be better.

@@sofi360More than not being good, it's that they are not beginner friendly, and hard to listen for the first time. To be honest the first time I heard super and maestro I didn't like them. Part of it was because I listened to them without watching the mv, and the other part is because they are hard to digest at first. However after hearing them again while watching the mv, they've grown to be one of my favorite songs. And I want to point out that I didn't force myself to like them, I was just bored and rewatched them cuz I had nothing to do.heck I can't say I'm an svt fan

Yeah, bc there's a lot of non K-pop fans(or K-pop "haters") who've reacted to K-pop or a K-pop group for the first time, with most of the songs either being brand new or a little more recent and they liked/loved them. I honestly think it depends on the person, whether they're open minded enough or just love music and based off of what ppl are saying in the comments(I haven't watched the vid due to it), regarding his/their remarks... he appears to be more on the single minded side(no offense to him). It's best to do what we've always been doing... agree to disagree and just keep it moving. All the songs suggested are controversial ones. Fear and Ready to Love were hated down when they were released, Maestro had the both the fans and the non-fans divided, some liked it and some hated it, and the rest of the two are sub-unit songs that are not vocal heavy (coz, well they are not vocal team's). Literally Fear is one of svt's loved song and Maestro is bang that you can't talk shit about i know we'll have different music preferences but if the song doesn't suit your taste judge it according to the music side of view. I'm not recommending anything to you guys. Why should I when you said this starting at 55:41 . Woozi and Vernon (I included Vernon because he is 2nd in writing, producing and composing) work hard at what they do. These men are a self made group. I respect that because there are groups out there that buy their songs. Are you actual reactors? I just saw someone who reacted to them for the first time. They started with the group as a whole and then they said they will react to the sub units one at a time. They are also learning their names so that they are respectful. That is how you react. They also looked at the lyrics and remembered that some things are lost in translation. You didn't do that. Whoever mentioned Clout Chasers, got it right.

they have 13 people, which they shouldnt - they are one of the few grps that are still active (despite being on their 10th yr on their career) that are still complete!!!!!!!!! there are grps that already have missing members despite having low no. of people in the first place. imagine the loyalty and trust they have to put on each other to last long. i dont think you have a say on their no. of members.
I am of the opinion that a lot of the recent seventeen releases have not touched the quality of their earlier ones like don't want wanna cry, aju nice, etc. And those are what I believe are truly representative of seventeen's music. In general especially when reacting to older groups, I hope this channel picks better songs and not only go off from discord. I'm guessing alot of the community members within your channel are newer kpop fans.
Honestly I feel like you guys gotta listen to more songs only bc they have so much more hard hitting songs that show their talent. Songs better than even Lalali. I love so much by them but these aren’t the best picks! Plus ready to love had a lot of company influence cause it was right when Hybe acquired their label, so it’s not just a woozi/bumzu (seventeens main producers) production.
Actually, I wish y'all reacted to Seventeen's Killing Voice episode instead. It's a show where kpop idols go to sing snippets of their songs, title tracks and b-sides alike, and Seventeen's Killing voice episode in particular has actually attracted a lot of new fans/ carats ever since it's release. Their vocals shine in that show as well. I STRONGLY recommend you two to watch it/ react to it together because I really feel it's such a shame that these were the songs that was being suggested for people who know nothing about Seventeen's discography in the first place. First listens with these songs is not easy.
You don't have to like seventeen but these song choices were abysmal. Leaving out their hits and then put two out of three unit songs in this is such a bad choice... This "Minghao" gave you a list of his favorits and not the best ones to get into the group. Giving a performance team song to reactors that aren't interested in performance and music videos is crazy! Lalali is a bob same as Cheers to Youth by the Vocal team but that conviniently isn't in the mix...
Also I get that you didn't like the songs but don't unnecessarily make fun of the group. They came from a small company with little to no funds and build themselfs up to beat the curse of the 7 year mark and are now in their 10th year after being told by everyone that they wouldn't make it. They aren't just self produced but self made and one of the closest groups in the industry, according to everyone who works or interacts with them in the industry.

Only talking about the singing in Spell lmaoo they are the performance unit. The choreo for this song is unreal. It’s not alwayssss about the vocals being phenomenal, and they didn’t even react to the vocal unit

Second SVT and kpop in general isn't just as simple as the music in your ears. It's about the whole experience. The production of the song is going to match the lyrics, the mv, the styling and the dance and vice versa. All of those are going to be working together and tell a story, convey a whole vibe or be something closer to experiencing art. For example when you said Fear felt hollow or like it was missing something, i loved that you felt that way. It's meant to make you feel that way. It's what the song is about. Anyway. Im not as salty that you aren't fully into it. Everyone has their own tastes. I also think you can take any song from SVT. It doesn't have to be a hit song. I will say that you guys may actually enjoy the B sides more over kpop title tracks though. I hope you will one day try more seventeen out. If not the music, they have a whole other fandom for their variety content. Oh but just a note, last year svt was first in physical album sales in the world and 2nd as artist to Taylor Swift. 💕

chile boo. I've gone through most of these reactors' videos, and let's just say they pretty much don't know wtf they're talking about. It's ok to not like k-pop, but damn, stating your opinions as facts is not the business.
This is one of the prime examples of "pre-conceived notions ruining a reaction" that I've seen on youtube. SEVENTEEN might be 13 members, but they're probably THE most balanced and well-rounded boygroup in the entirety of kpop. And I'm saying this as an avid follower of kpop. So whatever that white guy has stuck up his ass, I'd suggest he take it out immediately because he sounds incredibly biased for no reason.

As a 'Spell' lover this song just does it for me, its very calming and puts me in a very pleasant trance(I never want the song to end😭) but I can definetly see how it can be even better and magical, I just think that as it is the song its so good.
so I have watched a few of your kpop reactions so far and can i just say... If you are coming to kpop already deciding you hate it, as in your name, then you are not even giving these groups a chance are you? you are sat with a look of distain before the opening credit finishes.
all these groups have put many years work into their careers, and are the best in the business, so many groups dont even make it. Seventeen have worked so hard to make it big from a small company and are still their biggest group. Pledis have supported these boys so much. they are not from Hybe, they are not in one of the big three companies, yes they are under the hybe umbrella but pledis is still its own company. You haven't listened to a smidgen of their music, and instead of checking the songs that are the highest watched, choosing a variety of music from different comeback or years you go with their latest ones, and then have the audacity to say they shouldnt have thirteen members performing at once.
These 2 are trying to be the antithesis of the regular "reactors" who love everything. These guys don't really like anything KPop since a huge part of KPop is the visuals. I'd love to know what they usually listen to day to day.

I find it a bit amusing that almost everyone is saying these guys dislike the songs this much because the recommendations completely suck. Now, yes, these are not my favorite seventeen songs especially ready to love 👀, but they are still not horrible AT ALL. I personally really love lalali, fear and maestro has kind of grown on me. I do want to comment on the comment about the size of their group. It works for them, the line distribution works fairly well. Some members shine more in some releases, others in others. They've been together for many years with the fandom, and no one has a problem with it. So I am pretty sure it works for them. There's no need to say having 13 members on a song is 'dumb' or something they 'shouldn't' do.

The only song I knew of SEVENTEEN before watching you guys' reaction was Left and Right and I love it, but sadly wasn't in this lineup. Also, those songs weren't nearly as bad as you guys make them out to be. It was a first time listen for me as well and I thought they were all good songs and whatever you guys criticized was weird and oddly knit picky. Not a fan of this reaction tbh. Maybe the next one will be better.
