Honestly, it's not just that they're elusive, it's just.....I dunno, weird. I've had one Neptune smg drop (crap roll), two of the pulse, and a metric ton of ancillary weapons like old grenade launchers. I mean, I get it that they might want to "manufacture some rarity," but drops are so unreasonably sparse that it feels like an error.
In my opinion they should make the High Value Targets that spawn in patrol zones the way to farm this weapons. Every time you open the chest they drop after being killed, a random weapon from the world pool is awarded. It's completely RNG but it's a relaxed and approachable way to farm good to top tier weapons, even for a newer player
They could at least just take out some of the old trash. Why do Palmyra and Stochaistic variable even still drop?? Stochastic variable is over 2 years old now, and its being prioritized in the pool the same as brand new weapons
Under Pressure partners so well with Omolon Fluid Dynamics. Once that halfway point kicks in, the other perk takes over. It's like having Under Pressure and Over Pressure on the same weapon.
My best roll is fullbore, ricochet, graverobber, headseeker, reload mw. I was loving it in trials. Against immortals, sure it was difficult. But I felt more consistent with it. Always loved 3 round bursts. Especially travellers judgment 5. The look just made me fall in love with it. Hope to see it come back one 😊
I just want all the mercury weapons to return. Back when I was a new light, blissfully ignorant of the state of the game, the first weapons I felt like I actually "worked" towards were the mercury weapons. My personal favourite was the sword.
Man, I love your work. Every time I see a new weapon in the world pool I’m trying to think of how you would see it. You’ve found so many off meta choices that are legitimately a lot of fun to use. That said, if I see you playing with a gun I’m not familiar with my first reaction is “I need to explore that weapon!” Lol
Got lucky and got one with headseeker. Really enjoyed High Albedo but Senuna has almost completely replaced it for me. Hope they buff the rates or we get a way to focus em!
I got one with headseeker as well and it's great. One of the best sidearms I've used. The rest of the perks aren't great, but headseeker easily makes up for that.
The crazy thing is I can't say I ever remember seeing anyone talk about The Last Dance - I got a max range and max stability all in one roll with MT and RF, and the thing straight-up *BEAMS.*
Oh they do. That guns a lowkey BEAST! Max range AND it can roll rangefinder too. Still use my godroll till this day. It hits at ranges a sidearm has no buisness hitting at. It Shits on smgs lol.
After a while, I’d realized that, sidearms are pretty ideal for people that run Warlock or Hunt. Mostly because of the play style and potential engagements in combat for their respective subclasses as well. Titans? They don’t really need a close range weapon when they have their fists that do the most damage of a regular melee, especially compared to Hunters’ and Warlocks’ melee.
I managed to get an Under Pressure/Headseeker roll that unfortunately has nothing else worth mentioning on it in terms of barrel/mag/masterwork, but I recent got another one with Under Pressure/E-Cap that also has rico and hits both 100 stability and handling with an Arc subclass. It’s absurd. I play on MnK and I’ve always said these are the only sidearms I can have any joy with, but this one takes it to a whole other level. I’ve been pairing it with an Albruna with E-Cap/Opening Shot. Super snappy handling on both weapons and it’s great to swap to for a clean up on a bodyshot from Albruna.
With you on the autumn wind. I've had hundreds of these drop as I'm prestige 9 in crucible and prestige 8 in iron banner and I've still not had a roll worth keeping lol.
Best roll I have is a random drop a few weeks ago. Chambered/Ricochet/Under Pressure/Elemental Capacitor, with a handling masterwork. It feels so good.
One of my friends has been using it on Strand Warlock with Wings of Sacred Dawn paired with a Sniper. Grapple up, ADS w/Snipe & then when he starts to drop out comes Manticore! Definitely interested to see how he abuses the buffs!
On Titan, if you pop your rally barricade, start shooting a target, and then jump as you're dealing damage, you'll pop into the flight state while still getting all the rally barricade buffs
I've got three in my vault, two of which I've played with a bit. 1) slickdraw/headseeker w/corckscrew and appended, 2)under pressure/gutshot w/corckscrew and ricochet and 3)feeding frenzy/golden tricorn w/arrowhead break and alloy mag. The first roll is the only one that I've taken into pvp so far, felt pretty snappy. I'll have to take the other two for a spin.
I've gotten a few of these to drop. One had a dismal roll (don't remember what - but it was so blah I immediately dismantled it) and the other two were identical: -Extended Barrel / Smallbore -Tactical Mag / Ricochet Rounds -Feeding Frenzy -Pugilist It's pretty good, and the extra melee energy is certainly nice since I spend a lot of time throwing knives or hammers at enemies, but I think I would prefer Headseeker in that slot instead. As for the drop rates, I'm not convinced that the drop rates for this season's additions are that different than previous gear, I think the loot pool has gotten to be large enough that targeting certain things can be crazy difficult. I've been saying for a while that even though having one big World Loot pool is more convenient, I think it needs to be broken up into more specific divisions because of problems like this. Since I'm pretty sure the World Loot pool has 30+ weapons in it at this point (and don't forget, there's several sets of armor in there, too), I feel like individual loot pools for destinations would work better and would incentivize players to spend more time in some destinations, whether it's patrol, public events or Lost Sectors (giving Lost Sectors their own loot pool would be cool, too), etc., and it's been a LONG time since we actually had a reason to go to a destination other than the one the current DLC focuses on, aside from Legendary / Master Lost Sectors.
I'm convinced these drop rates are weighted on purpose, not just cause the world loot pool is enormous(but thats def an issue too). I'm lvl 300 on the season, I play alot, ive seen 2 harsh languages, maybe 3 coronachs, 3-4 sidearms, only battlescars I've seen have been sold at banshee, but I've gotten easily 20+ of that stupid sword Nessardin or whatever its called. I've noticed this for a while, but other than the dumb amount of armor we get, heavy weapons have to be weighted alot more than anything else, those are the only weapons I seem to get, its ridiculous. Witch queen didn't have this issue, funnelwebs were dropping like candy, and it took me til last season to even get the godroll, so RNG is still the biggest issue. With how hard it is to get what we want with RNG, they should be flooding us with weapons, it make the game so much better. These seasonal events are always good when it comes to that, and I still rarely get the exact rolls I want even with the crazy amount of drops we get during them. I've seen hatchling only twice on the scout, and I can't even count how many I've gotten so far. Let it rain bungie, this is ridiculous

I have a 3-burst sidearm myself I very much enjoy, The Vision, a roll with Kill Clip which can let it very comfortably 2 burst all resils for that .5 ttk, vicious. 4 crit 2 body. There's even a swashbuckler roll banshee's selling Right Now, one stack lets you 2-burst.
I've been in love with running Buzzard - especially since I got a decent (2/5 after 30 gm's...sigh) roll. But this season, I think I've gotten maybe 4-5 Senuna, two with identical rolls. This hurts a lot, since these world drops are so rare - I've seen TWO Battle Scars all season! Anyway, I've been using the Feeding Frenzy/Headseeker drop on Senuna. Love it. Feels buttery smooth, and, as a sidearm enthusiast, it's become one of my go-to weapons in my rotation. Peacebond, Liminal Vigil, Traveler's Chosen, and now Senuna. Always liked the Omolon 3-bursts (Last Dance was baby's first sidearm for me). I'm hoping I'll be able to get an Under Pressure roll with Tricorn or Headseeker, or maybe Headstone. Fun weapon. Cannot recommend enough.
As a sidearm main in PvP, I've so desperately wanted one of these with headseeker. I scrapped a roll with Under Pressure/Golden Tricorn the other day and now I'm kicking myself. Hopefully we get world drop focusing in the helm next season, or at least buffed drop rates.
Same complaint here. I’ve gotten exactly 1 senuna, it’s pretty good but, dude, the drop rate is ludicrous. E-cap and feeding frenzy and a ta he masterwork. The origin trait is nutty on these sidearms
I got myself a pretty sick PvE Roll of Feeding Frenzy/Headstone and I gotta say it slaps super hard whenever I pull it out. It's not too often that I get the chance to (I basically have to be on Stasis Lock and need a good excuse to not be running Aeger's) but whenever I do, I'm very impressed.
1:37 The Screenshot literally shows why nobody is using them. You can't see where or what you are shooting. It completly blocks the guardian and makes it hard or even impossible to track the target.
So i know this is a video about the Senuna but i just need to put this out there. You mentioned that your favorite sidearm is the omolon three burst, if i had to say mine it would be the suros rapid fire, specifically the Fools Remedy. I know everyone has a gun they overwhelmingly hate getting killed by, maybe its something meta like the Immortal or Le monarch, maybe its something meme tier but still good like Jotuun or the current flavor of the month Shotgun. But for me it has always been the damn Fools Remedy. When it was still in the Iron Banner pool I saw it with a fair bit of frequency and no matter my approach it literally felt unstoppable to me when it was used against me. If i was shotgunning, id be gunned down before i could close the gap. If i had a midrange primary, they could close the gap and kill me before i finished them off. And if i tried to fusion rifle them, they could burst me down before i could get my shot off. There was a moment where Drang overtook it for a while but after the sidearm buff and Drangs nerf, Fools Remedy once again became my most hated weapon. Its very, very rare i see it but in cases where I do it becomes my mission to hunt that person down and exterminate them or die trying. All that being said I still have a moving target, kill clip roll that is absolutely disgusting which is never gonna leave my vault unless it gets reissued with skulking wolf and even better perks. But of course lord help us if it does, anyway great video as always Cool Guy. Keep up the five star Destiny content.
I use Peacebond, but only on my Arthrys' Embrace build. It's strange how these 3-Burst Sidearms used to be all the rage back in the day but have fallen off the map. I'm guessing that not enough content creators are talking about them anymore since the Destiny community at large is heavy on the sheep population. EDIT: Not enough people seem to be talking about Perfect Float, either. I have that and Target Lock on my Prolonged Engagement and that extra stability comes in clutch all the time. Everyone seems to focus on that bonus to AE while ignoring the Stability bonus. Not a bad perk at all.
Something else to mention: I have this with slickdraw and headseeker. Pairing this with shadebinder and hedrons makes it truly a monster. Iceflare bolts and osmio and you feel like you have 100% uptime on hedrons. I pair it with a high impact fusion or nessas.
I still have the good old Last Dance omolon adaptive side arm.... I was lucky enough to get Kill Clip and Outlaw on it and the weapon just shreds, all i can say is omolon adaptive side arms are amazing.
It's definitely an underrated side arm. I've been looking for a head seeker roll for a while but currently have a under pressure, headstone, ricochet round, hammer forged roll. 45 range 100 stability. It's been on hell of a side arm. Appreciate you making videos like this. People see videos of "this is meta" and refuse to try anything else, when there are definitely some other good options.
Always loved the 3 burst sidearms, loved last dance, loved peacebond, loved high albedo, loved vision and I'm shocked that bungie hasn't made a solar 3 burst sidearm yet similar case for void too.
3 months later and got two - my first 2 - drops back to back yesterday while playing banner and this video was the first thing that came to my mind. headstone + U.P... feels like a sign I should put my shadebinder pants back on and give this little dude a fair shake. After your Liminal Vigil review any headstone sidearm is immediatly glued to my 'lock.
I got two rolls and I'm max Level with 450 in the season pass. First one was under pressure and headstone. Decent, but already had an IB one with max range RF+headstone. Yesterday I got a second one with perfect float and headseeker and I was like daaamn, didn't knew It could roll headseeker. Definitely taking it for a spin later
3 bursts have been my favorite sidearms for a long time. I LOVE my rangefinder + swash peacebond. I have an old rangefinder MKC Last Hope I still go back to all the time. The raw, single-burst cleanup potential is incredible if you get rushed. I almost consider them like a mini, no-charge fusion rifle. I like running them with a sniper, but I almost think you’re better off going double primary if you’re up against immortal players who know how to keep you to their ideal engagement distance.
I've probably had about 8 or more drop last season and 3 or 4 so far this season. Was sitting on 5 of them. Going to take one for a spin and see how it does. Thanks for the inspiration.
I got one to roll with hammer forged rifling, heavy caliber rounds, feeding frenzy, head seeker, and a stability masterwork at the very start of the season. Can confirm, the thing is nasty.
I've gotten maybe 3-4 of this sidearm to drop, and the only one I kept is hammer forged, hical, perfect float, headseeker, and a range mw. I definitely hit the jackpot there, but I've only gotten the waveframe and pulse maybe once or twice. This is insane, wish they didn't have to put all the old weapons in the pool and weigh them so highly that the new things are just impossible to get a good roll of.
if you think this is bad, there's a rapid fire heavy GL called Marsilion that is world drop "and actually have patterns for crafting" that never dropped for me, ever! i only knew about it because i saw it on collection with Senuna i actually was really lucky to get one with feeding frenzy, head seeker & range masterwork at the very start of the season, i still get one every now and then though
No one has that GL pattern. My guess it was supposed to be tied to an enclave quest like Taipan or Ammit to give people a free east god roll since they buffed heavy GL’s w lightfall
I only got it to drop once and it was Perfect Float, Head Seeker with High Cal Rounds and a stability MW that pushes it to 100 stability. I'm satisfied with that.
Went the whole season and never received a deepsight Marsilion-C, and have never even dropped/seen/been killed by this thing. They should implement a form of legendary engram protection opposite that of exotic armor. If you own every exotic weapon, exotic world drops will always be armor. So for example, if you have acquired and can unlock every legendary armor piece in the world pool, guarantee it to be a weapon. It's not like a random legendary armor on the ground is gonna drop anywhere to close to the stats you want, and this would help newer/returning players finish their armor collection from past years.
Started to use the trespasser because I saw it in one of you videos and now I can't stop using it. That with a pulse rifle with headseaker. Pure dueling confort. It feels so good to challenge anybody up close with the 3 burst sidearm.
I adore my feeding frenzy and headstone roll on my Stasis Titan, allows me to roll up and dish out so much damage and follow up with damage resist, grenade recharge, and health/over shield. Very fun, as soon as it drops more often I expect usage to skyrocket
Fairly early in the season I got ricochet rounds, envious assassin and headseeker, with stability MW and either fluted for 33 range/100 stability, or full bore (what I use) for 53 range/92 stability. Headseeker alone made this an instant part of my loadout in banner and pvp before I got immortal. Still kinda prefer it at times tbh, I might use it more next season after we lose the free tangle nuke via strand guns.
Very timely video. I just got the feeding frenzy, headseaker 😊. I was tempted to infuse it, but figured I should watch this first. Needles to say, no infusion taking place here 😅. My only other roll is the under pressure + golden tricorn 😊
i actually was lucky enough to get a headseeker,under pressure,accurized rounds,fullbore senuna and its deadly its so good. ill run that with scalar potential and put on the Bakris and its over
I love me some 3-burst sidearms...my kill clip the vision is one of my favs. I lucked out and have a perfect float/headseeker and a perfect float/golden tricorn rolls of senuna. 100% agree the drop rate is absolute butts... think I only saw 4 senuna drops all season.
I got 3 to drop since the beginning of the season. I with golden tricorn, one with elemental c. and one with gutshot. I love them all they put work in.
I use Peacebond a ton, High Albedo, Empirical Evidence and Drang... but tons of history with Last Dance/Last Hope and fervently hope they bring back Traveler's Judgement
I have a full bore, light mag, perfect float and headseeker roll (reload mw), and it is one of the most fun weapons I've used in pvp. I haven't even used it with a strand hunter yet, but will do that after this. I agree on the drop rates, I have got maybe 3 drops the whole season. Also got an under pressure headstone roll, but that doesn't feel nearly as good.
wow I actually bought that roll too, and I have no idea why, maybe because I like Tricorn but I don’t even remember buying it. I’ll have to try it out. The other roll I got from a drop is FF/headstone which would be pretty good for PvE stasis builds

I have three that i Have kept so far, RNGezus has been kind this season. :Smallbore/Fluted,APRounds/LightMag,Perfect Float, headseeker, StabilityMW this thing is bananas : Poly/Extended,APRound/Extended,Envious, Golden tricorn, StabilityMW :Fullbore/Hammerforged, AP Rounds/Flared, Envious, Headseeker, Handling MW Still havent dropped Shoot to loot, Tremors on anything, but did just get perfect float Tremors on Battle Scar.
I lucked into Under Pressure // Headseeker on my literal only world drop of this. Its very good. Under Pressure is always seemless on Omolon weapons due to that natural synergy, when you lose Omolon Fluid Dynamics, you can UP. If you have High Albedo though, theres really not reason to chase this one.
Banshee needs some sort of weapon foundry focussing system, or a rebooted arms day mechanic, there are a lot of world drop weapons out now and it's a struggle to get what you're lookimy for. Updating Banshee like the other vendors have received would be pretty cool.
For 3-burst sidearms I still have a god rolled Traveller's Judgement 5 I farmed back in season of Dawn - Rapid-Hit/Tap the Trigger, 67 range, 72 stability and 80 aim assist. Those stats are up there with precision frame sidearms and it duels extremely well. Only issue is that it's sunset :')
I got my own with slickdraw and headseeker and I have to say, slickdraw on sidearms doesn’t feel too bad, it lets me use other exotics besides tricksleeves, as always great review CoolGuy!
They do need to buff world drops, like... Significantly. I've gotten less then five fubbelwebs in total, and thank lady luck the last one I received was a god roll.
I would really love to farm world drops in the world. I'd love to just drop in the EDZ and start doing bounties for specific weapons. I'd love to do public events or lost sectors and know that any legendary that drops is one of few in a select pool.
You and me have very different experiences and I think you play more than I do. I get these left and right. The one I have is Headseeker/Perfect Float stability MW with over 100 stability. I will try it out this weekend.
I managed to get two world drops of it: 1. Hammerforge, alloy mag, slickdraw, headstone, reload masterwork 2. Hammerforge, ricochet, under pressure, headstone, range masterwork I use the second one in crucible and i keep the first in my vault
I still use my Last Hope with high cal/quick draw/multi kill clip, and 62 range. It definitely surprises other players, and melts them. Hopefully Bungie brings it back into the loot pool.
I think a simple solution to this is to permanently add value to banshee 44 and allow his rank up packages to be focusable according to weapon foundry like the option in season of the plunder. This would not outright hand you the gun you want, but it would curb to at least 3-5 weapons specifically from Veist, Hakke, Suros, Omolon etc.
I have only one Senuna with Envious Assassin & Headseeker, Flared Magwell and Smallbore with a range masterwork and although it doesn't look like it'd be very good this thing absolutely slaps in PvP 💪👍🤘
I have gotten literally one of these in the past 3 months of playing. And it had Slickdraw so I burned it. I think it's just that there are many more WQ era world drop weapons in the table right now that LF weapons are currently needles in the haystack. But that's why weighting exists no? I think that world drops should be weighted towards the current era so that we can actually try them. Instead of hoping and praying that Banshee will have one.
He said the three burst sidearms with ricochet rounds are his favorite and I agree with that for most of them. This thing has an absurd 82 base stability plus the bonus stability from the Omolon trait. I have one with max range and high cal and it's still crazy stable.
I have the Slickdraw + Headseeker roll. It can work, but you really gotta have high stability to keep it on target. Playing with a lower stability barrel option was pretty frustrating. Best thing I can say about Senuna is that it pushed me to pick up one of my Peacebonds and give it a try, and it's still just as good as it used to be.
I feel like everyone has that one weapon they keep on getting and one they can't get at all. Admittedly, I have hardly played this season, but I have gotten multiple Coronach-22s and one single Battle Scar (which I didn't even know was dropping).
i've been REALLY lucky with the world drops. I've got a senuna with headseeker, battle scar with s2l+kinetic tremors and a harsh language with envious+repulsor brace
Have a perfect float / headseeker Senuna SI6. Works well and makes me not have to do Empire Hunts... Especially since I burned all of my Variksbucks for glimmer. I dismantled my Peacebonds (RF/IR and RF/Headstone): both were pre Origin Traits and I never got a same tier roll with Skulking Wolf before they reworked it and Peacebond left. And focusing IB engrams is too expensive for the perk pools being so dogshit otherwise. Since they are going to make Zoom no longer affect damage falloff (but still affect aim assist range), all of the above factors were the right to ditch the previous guns. The PVE Peacebond I had with Headstone was replaced by a different archtype (Liminal Vigil with Headstone/Surrounded)
Got a under pressure/elemental capacitor roll and omg is this thing juiced, 98 stability, 100 handling, 45-50 reload, 50 range, and extremely sticky even in air

I do really hope we get Focusing options for the World Weapons next season, losing out on that from Plunder last year hurt so badly.
I’m about 90% sure there will be more focusing options for world drops next season. They usually add more the next season after an expansion.

I play on MnK and I’ve always said these are the only sidearms I can have any joy with, but this one takes it to a whole other level. I’ve been pairing it with an Albruna with E-Cap/Opening Shot. Super snappy handling on both weapons and it’s great to swap to for a clean up on a bodyshot from Albruna.
Senuna with tricorn on a strand build is fantastic. And yeah - I've only had two drop this season. And 5000 Autumn Winds in crucible.
With you on the autumn wind. I've had hundreds of these drop as I'm prestige 9 in crucible and prestige 8 in iron banner and I've still not had a roll worth keeping lol.

Best roll I have is a random drop a few weeks ago. Chambered/Ricochet/Under Pressure/Elemental Capacitor, with a handling masterwork. It feels so good.
I got an under pressure headseeker and I never even tried it. Took it out after this video and it slaps. GG
I recommend you return to manticore on a grapple hunter, especially with the manticore buff coming next season

One of my friends has been using it on Strand Warlock with Wings of Sacred Dawn paired with a Sniper. Grapple up, ADS w/Snipe & then when he starts to drop out comes Manticore! Definitely interested to see how he abuses the buffs!
On Titan, if you pop your rally barricade, start shooting a target, and then jump as you're dealing damage, you'll pop into the flight state while still getting all the rally barricade buffs
I've got three in my vault, two of which I've played with a bit. 1) slickdraw/headseeker w/corckscrew and appended, 2)under pressure/gutshot w/corckscrew and ricochet and 3)feeding frenzy/golden tricorn w/arrowhead break and alloy mag. The first roll is the only one that I've taken into pvp so far, felt pretty snappy. I'll have to take the other two for a spin.
I've gotten a few of these to drop. One had a dismal roll (don't remember what - but it was so blah I immediately dismantled it) and the other two were identical:
-Extended Barrel / Smallbore
-Tactical Mag / Ricochet Rounds
-Feeding Frenzy
-Pugilist
It's pretty good, and the extra melee energy is certainly nice since I spend a lot of time throwing knives or hammers at enemies, but I think I would prefer Headseeker in that slot instead.
As for the drop rates, I'm not convinced that the drop rates for this season's additions are that different than previous gear, I think the loot pool has gotten to be large enough that targeting certain things can be crazy difficult. I've been saying for a while that even though having one big World Loot pool is more convenient, I think it needs to be broken up into more specific divisions because of problems like this. Since I'm pretty sure the World Loot pool has 30+ weapons in it at this point (and don't forget, there's several sets of armor in there, too), I feel like individual loot pools for destinations would work better and would incentivize players to spend more time in some destinations, whether it's patrol, public events or Lost Sectors (giving Lost Sectors their own loot pool would be cool, too), etc., and it's been a LONG time since we actually had a reason to go to a destination other than the one the current DLC focuses on, aside from Legendary / Master Lost Sectors.
I'm convinced these drop rates are weighted on purpose, not just cause the world loot pool is enormous(but thats def an issue too). I'm lvl 300 on the season, I play alot, ive seen 2 harsh languages, maybe 3 coronachs, 3-4 sidearms, only battlescars I've seen have been sold at banshee, but I've gotten easily 20+ of that stupid sword Nessardin or whatever its called. I've noticed this for a while, but other than the dumb amount of armor we get, heavy weapons have to be weighted alot more than anything else, those are the only weapons I seem to get, its ridiculous. Witch queen didn't have this issue, funnelwebs were dropping like candy, and it took me til last season to even get the godroll, so RNG is still the biggest issue. With how hard it is to get what we want with RNG, they should be flooding us with weapons, it make the game so much better. These seasonal events are always good when it comes to that, and I still rarely get the exact rolls I want even with the crazy amount of drops we get during them. I've seen hatchling only twice on the scout, and I can't even count how many I've gotten so far. Let it rain bungie, this is ridiculous

I have a 3-burst sidearm myself I very much enjoy, The Vision, a roll with Kill Clip which can let it very comfortably 2 burst all resils for that .5 ttk, vicious. 4 crit 2 body.
There's even a swashbuckler roll banshee's selling Right Now, one stack lets you 2-burst.
I've been in love with running Buzzard - especially since I got a decent (2/5 after 30 gm's...sigh) roll. But this season, I think I've gotten maybe 4-5 Senuna, two with identical rolls. This hurts a lot, since these world drops are so rare - I've seen TWO Battle Scars all season!
Anyway, I've been using the Feeding Frenzy/Headseeker drop on Senuna. Love it. Feels buttery smooth, and, as a sidearm enthusiast, it's become one of my go-to weapons in my rotation. Peacebond, Liminal Vigil, Traveler's Chosen, and now Senuna. Always liked the Omolon 3-bursts (Last Dance was baby's first sidearm for me). I'm hoping I'll be able to get an Under Pressure roll with Tricorn or Headseeker, or maybe Headstone. Fun weapon. Cannot recommend enough.
As a sidearm main in PvP, I've so desperately wanted one of these with headseeker. I scrapped a roll with Under Pressure/Golden Tricorn the other day and now I'm kicking myself. Hopefully we get world drop focusing in the helm next season, or at least buffed drop rates.
Same complaint here. I’ve gotten exactly 1 senuna, it’s pretty good but, dude, the drop rate is ludicrous. E-cap and feeding frenzy and a ta he masterwork. The origin trait is nutty on these sidearms
I got myself a pretty sick PvE Roll of Feeding Frenzy/Headstone and I gotta say it slaps super hard whenever I pull it out. It's not too often that I get the chance to (I basically have to be on Stasis Lock and need a good excuse to not be running Aeger's) but whenever I do, I'm very impressed.
1:37 The Screenshot literally shows why nobody is using them. You can't see where or what you are shooting. It completly blocks the guardian and makes it hard or even impossible to track the target.
So i know this is a video about the Senuna but i just need to put this out there. You mentioned that your favorite sidearm is the omolon three burst, if i had to say mine it would be the suros rapid fire, specifically the Fools Remedy. I know everyone has a gun they overwhelmingly hate getting killed by, maybe its something meta like the Immortal or Le monarch, maybe its something meme tier but still good like Jotuun or the current flavor of the month Shotgun. But for me it has always been the damn Fools Remedy. When it was still in the Iron Banner pool I saw it with a fair bit of frequency and no matter my approach it literally felt unstoppable to me when it was used against me. If i was shotgunning, id be gunned down before i could close the gap. If i had a midrange primary, they could close the gap and kill me before i finished them off. And if i tried to fusion rifle them, they could burst me down before i could get my shot off. There was a moment where Drang overtook it for a while but after the sidearm buff and Drangs nerf, Fools Remedy once again became my most hated weapon. Its very, very rare i see it but in cases where I do it becomes my mission to hunt that person down and exterminate them or die trying. All that being said I still have a moving target, kill clip roll that is absolutely disgusting which is never gonna leave my vault unless it gets reissued with skulking wolf and even better perks. But of course lord help us if it does, anyway great video as always Cool Guy. Keep up the five star Destiny content.
I use Peacebond, but only on my Arthrys' Embrace build. It's strange how these 3-Burst Sidearms used to be all the rage back in the day but have fallen off the map. I'm guessing that not enough content creators are talking about them anymore since the Destiny community at large is heavy on the sheep population.
EDIT: Not enough people seem to be talking about Perfect Float, either. I have that and Target Lock on my Prolonged Engagement and that extra stability comes in clutch all the time. Everyone seems to focus on that bonus to AE while ignoring the Stability bonus. Not a bad perk at all.
Something else to mention:
I have this with slickdraw and headseeker. Pairing this with shadebinder and hedrons makes it truly a monster. Iceflare bolts and osmio and you feel like you have 100% uptime on hedrons. I pair it with a high impact fusion or nessas.
I still have the good old Last Dance omolon adaptive side arm.... I was lucky enough to get Kill Clip and Outlaw on it and the weapon just shreds, all i can say is omolon adaptive side arms are amazing.

It's definitely an underrated side arm. I've been looking for a head seeker roll for a while but currently have a under pressure, headstone, ricochet round, hammer forged roll. 45 range 100 stability. It's been on hell of a side arm. Appreciate you making videos like this. People see videos of "this is meta" and refuse to try anything else, when there are definitely some other good options.
The vision with Crimson is my go to load out right now, having a lot of fun with those.

Always loved the 3 burst sidearms, loved last dance, loved peacebond, loved high albedo, loved vision and I'm shocked that bungie hasn't made a solar 3 burst sidearm yet similar case for void too.
I'm almost positive Last Dance was solar at one point, during Menagerie I think, and then they changed it for some unknown reason.

3 months later and got two - my first 2 - drops back to back yesterday while playing banner and this video was the first thing that came to my mind. headstone + U.P... feels like a sign I should put my shadebinder pants back on and give this little dude a fair shake. After your Liminal Vigil review any headstone sidearm is immediatly glued to my 'lock.
I've had one drop of this gun. Feeding frenzy. Head seeker. Range masterwork. Put it into the vault and haven't used it yet. I'll give it a try.
I got two rolls and I'm max Level with 450 in the season pass. First one was under pressure and headstone. Decent, but already had an IB one with max range RF+headstone. Yesterday I got a second one with perfect float and headseeker and I was like daaamn, didn't knew It could roll headseeker. Definitely taking it for a spin later

3 bursts have been my favorite sidearms for a long time. I LOVE my rangefinder + swash peacebond. I have an old rangefinder MKC Last Hope I still go back to all the time. The raw, single-burst cleanup potential is incredible if you get rushed. I almost consider them like a mini, no-charge fusion rifle.
I like running them with a sniper, but I almost think you’re better off going double primary if you’re up against immortal players who know how to keep you to their ideal engagement distance.
I've probably had about 8 or more drop last season and 3 or 4 so far this season. Was sitting on 5 of them. Going to take one for a spin and see how it does. Thanks for the inspiration.
I got one to roll with hammer forged rifling, heavy caliber rounds, feeding frenzy, head seeker, and a stability masterwork at the very start of the season.

I've gotten maybe 3-4 of this sidearm to drop, and the only one I kept is hammer forged, hical, perfect float, headseeker, and a range mw. I definitely hit the jackpot there, but I've only gotten the waveframe and pulse maybe once or twice. This is insane, wish they didn't have to put all the old weapons in the pool and weigh them so highly that the new things are just impossible to get a good roll of.
if you think this is bad, there's a rapid fire heavy GL called Marsilion that is world drop "and actually have patterns for crafting" that never dropped for me, ever! i only knew about it because i saw it on collection
with Senuna i actually was really lucky to get one with feeding frenzy, head seeker & range masterwork at the very start of the season, i still get one every now and then though
No one has that GL pattern. My guess it was supposed to be tied to an enclave quest like Taipan or Ammit to give people a free east god roll since they buffed heavy GL’s w lightfall
my guess is that it will be part of a quest that teaches you manual deepsight next season
I believe the patter drop is bugged or at least thats what i heard. It hasn't dropped for anyone that i know.

I only got it to drop once and it was Perfect Float, Head Seeker with High Cal Rounds and a stability MW that pushes it to 100 stability. I'm satisfied with that.
Went the whole season and never received a deepsight Marsilion-C, and have never even dropped/seen/been killed by this thing. They should implement a form of legendary engram protection opposite that of exotic armor. If you own every exotic weapon, exotic world drops will always be armor. So for example, if you have acquired and can unlock every legendary armor piece in the world pool, guarantee it to be a weapon. It's not like a random legendary armor on the ground is gonna drop anywhere to close to the stats you want, and this would help newer/returning players finish their armor collection from past years.
Started to use the trespasser because I saw it in one of you videos and now I can't stop using it. That with a pulse rifle with headseaker. Pure dueling confort. It feels so good to challenge anybody up close with the 3 burst sidearm.
I adore my feeding frenzy and headstone roll on my Stasis Titan, allows me to roll up and dish out so much damage and follow up with damage resist, grenade recharge, and health/over shield. Very fun, as soon as it drops more often I expect usage to skyrocket
I had a Senuna but dismantled it when deleted half vault. Out of the hundreds of things I dismantled, this is the only weapon I regret dismantling. 😖
Fairly early in the season I got ricochet rounds, envious assassin and headseeker, with stability MW and either fluted for 33 range/100 stability, or full bore (what I use) for 53 range/92 stability. Headseeker alone made this an instant part of my loadout in banner and pvp before I got immortal. Still kinda prefer it at times tbh, I might use it more next season after we lose the free tangle nuke via strand guns.

Very timely video. I just got the feeding frenzy, headseaker 😊. I was tempted to infuse it, but figured I should watch this first. Needles to say, no infusion taking place here 😅. My only other roll is the under pressure + golden tricorn 😊
The first senuna I got from banshee had ricochet rounds,perfect float, and golden tricorn and it was hittin hard from the air
i actually was lucky enough to get a headseeker,under pressure,accurized rounds,fullbore senuna and its deadly its so good. ill run that with scalar potential and put on the Bakris and its over
I love me some 3-burst sidearms...my kill clip the vision is one of my favs. I lucked out and have a perfect float/headseeker and a perfect float/golden tricorn rolls of senuna. 100% agree the drop rate is absolute butts... think I only saw 4 senuna drops all season.
I got 3 to drop since the beginning of the season. I with golden tricorn, one with elemental c. and one with gutshot. I love them all they put work in.
I use Peacebond a ton, High Albedo, Empirical Evidence and Drang... but tons of history with Last Dance/Last Hope and fervently hope they bring back Traveler's Judgement
I have a full bore, light mag, perfect float and headseeker roll (reload mw), and it is one of the most fun weapons I've used in pvp. I haven't even used it with a strand hunter yet, but will do that after this. I agree on the drop rates, I have got maybe 3 drops the whole season.
Also got an under pressure headstone roll, but that doesn't feel nearly as good.

Traveller's judge 5 is my favourite with tap the trigger, rapid hit from season of dawn. So easy to get 2 bursts

I just got my second one to drop and thankfully it's a 10/10 god roll. Full Bore, High Cal, Perfect Float and HeadSeeker with range master work (max range) IT SHREDS

I lucked into Under Pressure // Headseeker on my literal only world drop of this.
Its very good. Under Pressure is always seemless on Omolon weapons due to that natural synergy, when you lose Omolon Fluid Dynamics, you can UP.
If you have High Albedo though, theres really not reason to chase this one.
Banshee needs some sort of weapon foundry focussing system, or a rebooted arms day mechanic, there are a lot of world drop weapons out now and it's a struggle to get what you're lookimy for.
Updating Banshee like the other vendors have received would be pretty cool.

For 3-burst sidearms I still have a god rolled Traveller's Judgement 5 I farmed back in season of Dawn - Rapid-Hit/Tap the Trigger, 67 range, 72 stability and 80 aim assist. Those stats are up there with precision frame sidearms and it duels extremely well. Only issue is that it's sunset :')
I have one with Full bore, high cal, perfect float and headseeker, it's a dueling machine I love it.

I manage to get my hands on a Feeding frenzy Headstone roll and I've been loving it as a Shadebinder main.
I got my own with slickdraw and headseeker and I have to say, slickdraw on sidearms doesn’t feel too bad, it lets me use other exotics besides tricksleeves, as always great review CoolGuy!
Got the same roll, pretty decent but you got to actually aim the first burst well.

I would really love to farm world drops in the world. I'd love to just drop in the EDZ and start doing bounties for specific weapons. I'd love to do public events or lost sectors and know that any legendary that drops is one of few in a select pool.
You and me have very different experiences and I think you play more than I do. I get these left and right. The one I have is Headseeker/Perfect Float stability MW with over 100 stability. I will try it out this weekend.

I got 4 in Neomuna. FF/headseeker is my fav cuz great mag and barrel perks. GT is ok. Under/headseeker is good but other perks suck. Saving to craft!
I still LOVE my unforgiven with killing wind and kill clip. It's just a beast!
I managed to get two world drops of it:
1. Hammerforge, alloy mag, slickdraw, headstone, reload masterwork
2. Hammerforge, ricochet, under pressure, headstone, range masterwork
I use the second one in crucible and i keep the first in my vault
I still use my Last Hope with high cal/quick draw/multi kill clip, and 62 range. It definitely surprises other players, and melts them. Hopefully Bungie brings it back into the loot pool.

I think a simple solution to this is to permanently add value to banshee 44 and allow his rank up packages to be focusable according to weapon foundry like the option in season of the plunder. This would not outright hand you the gun you want, but it would curb to at least 3-5 weapons specifically from Veist, Hakke, Suros, Omolon etc.
I have only one Senuna with Envious Assassin & Headseeker, Flared Magwell and Smallbore with a range masterwork and although it doesn't look like it'd be very good this thing absolutely slaps in PvP 💪👍🤘
I have gotten literally one of these in the past 3 months of playing. And it had Slickdraw so I burned it.
I think it's just that there are many more WQ era world drop weapons in the table right now that LF weapons are currently needles in the haystack.
But that's why weighting exists no? I think that world drops should be weighted towards the current era so that we can actually try them. Instead of hoping and praying that Banshee will have one.
He said the three burst sidearms with ricochet rounds are his favorite and I agree with that for most of them. This thing has an absurd 82 base stability plus the bonus stability from the Omolon trait. I have one with max range and high cal and it's still crazy stable.
I have the Slickdraw + Headseeker roll. It can work, but you really gotta have high stability to keep it on target. Playing with a lower stability barrel option was pretty frustrating.
Best thing I can say about Senuna is that it pushed me to pick up one of my Peacebonds and give it a try, and it's still just as good as it used to be.
I feel like everyone has that one weapon they keep on getting and one they can't get at all. Admittedly, I have hardly played this season, but I have gotten multiple Coronach-22s and one single Battle Scar (which I didn't even know was dropping).

i've been REALLY lucky with the world drops. I've got a senuna with headseeker, battle scar with s2l+kinetic tremors and a harsh language with envious+repulsor brace
Have a perfect float / headseeker Senuna SI6. Works well and makes me not have to do Empire Hunts... Especially since I burned all of my Variksbucks for glimmer.
I dismantled my Peacebonds (RF/IR and RF/Headstone): both were pre Origin Traits and I never got a same tier roll with Skulking Wolf before they reworked it and Peacebond left. And focusing IB engrams is too expensive for the perk pools being so dogshit otherwise.
Since they are going to make Zoom no longer affect damage falloff (but still affect aim assist range), all of the above factors were the right to ditch the previous guns. The PVE Peacebond I had with Headstone was replaced by a different archtype (Liminal Vigil with Headstone/Surrounded)
I got VERY lucky and rolled an Under Pressure/Headseeker roll. It is absolutely INCREDIBLE.
