    Solid advice, clearly presented and illustrated. In my experience, a compliment and chat to the artisan or shopkeeper subject makes it easier to get them to agree to an environmental portrait. Cheers!

    Thanks for the advice. The perceived threat of confrontation has been my biggest problem with street photography. I fear people are far more confrontational and hostile than they actually are. In reality, as you said, most people (like 95%) usually don't care and they're usually in their own little bubbles anyway. I do like the idea of telling people working in businesses that the photos are for social media because it's like a win-win with publicity.

      Very good post, I think the fear of confrontation also stems from us thinking that we wont be able to handle the situation.
      If you knew with 100% certainty that you could deal with any situation that arose, then you would not fear it.
      Yes, at times it may feel uncomfortable, and many people don't like confrontation (Including myself, I would much prefer that I was just left alone and left to do my own thing without anyone interfering) .
      But once you begin to tell yourself "Whatever happens I will be able to deal with it. There is nothing to fear, as I am not doing anything wrong" it becomes soooo much easier.
      Good luck my friend!
      Make sure you keep an eye out for part 2 which should be released sometime this week.

    The hardest thing is usually getting my camera out of my bag, but when I do I've never actually had any negative experiences. In fact, I've had people come up to me and ask to take their photo!

    That's a great video; thank you. Could you please reply with a link to the external monitor you are using? Also does it have the ability to add a hood as I find it very hard to see the display on bright sunny days? TIA.

    • @TheCameraManReviews

      That one is the Atomos Ninja Monitor.
      You can get a sun hood for it.

    I’m still learning the ins and outs of all the different things this camera can do. How are you recording and taking pictures at the same time does an external monitor need to be plugged in?

    • @TheCameraManReviews
      @TheCameraManReviews  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Hi, yeah to record at the same time you need an external recorder, the one i use in this video is the Atomos Ninja V

    I have this lens for my full frame camera but just got an a6700 as a walk around setup. How have you found corner to corner sharpness if this combo? Curious how it compares to a native APSC lens.

      @TheCameraManReviews  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      That is a great question and one I will get back to you on, I literally pulled the first lens out my camera bag and went with it. I haven't done a full test with it, but my initial thoughts are that it is great!

    Hello it is necesary to have the screen of the camera opened when you use an external screen ? I said this because of the overhead of the camera. Thanks

    • @TheCameraManReviews
      @TheCameraManReviews  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      If you are using an external recorder, no the screen can be left closed. 🙂
