Working with my Beagle and she knows a few commands without clicker or treats, but man she is stubborn. Brilliant dog, just really stubborn and really loving snacks instead lol. Good thing I’ve raised a Jack Russell in my childhood, makes it much easier to figure out my girl. Terriers = digging, hounds = tracking. So it’s smells that get her going lol.
Super!!
Harsh Kumar the sound is a clicker. It is used to train w positive reinforcement. The sound let's the dog know it is doing the behavior that is desired.
for beagles its what works best tbh. theyre quite the greedy breed. if you know their favourite treat they will learn very, very fast. and they dont really care about the portion size. so just take tiny bits of the treats and they wont get so fat
then what will happen after they learned everything by food treats in the end? do you need treats in your pocket all the time ? what if you teach him to track something or someone & on middle of his job he picks some good smells ( food smells ) ? can you control him ? ( he is off leash middle of forest ) . im just learning . thank you
Unfortunately he needs the treats all the time. I thinks it's better to teach them with a toy, but my beagle wasn't interested in playing. But I can control him offleash, he never goes to far from me, even in the forest
@@junicen5820 I get it, thanks. I am thinking of getting a beagle. My mom said when she grew up hers was out of control. She never trained it, just let it do what it wanted. It barked all the time. I can see how tricks and perhaps obedience school are necessary for a beagle.
Very nice looking dog with a beautiful best friend! Impressive training too!!
My beagle looks same as your beagle!
Great tricks!

How i wish i can train my husband like hers
May I know what you feed your beagle with? My beagle has issues with his skin! Any advice you can offer would be of great help!! Thanks!!!
I love this and Also that it is a male beagle which is what I have. Some people think you can't teach Male beagles anything.
well the fact is male or female beagles are highly trainable. so i think u wont have any problem training them :3
Comment tu lui as appris tout ça ?
Love it!
Amazing...
is it true that beagle only willing to do tricks only when treats are provided?
Using treats is for training purposes. After they are fully trained, the treats are no longer needed.
omguanyin I initially used treats but no need anymore...so didn’t ring true with mine
Franchement bravo !

Harsh Kumar called a clicker
N for all the people who say beagles r dumb stubborn yes dumb no their dogs! N sorry cats have very good instincts but are very hard to train.
is there any other way to teach your dog without food treats ?
bait training is not a good idea in my opinion

Why do you need it to do most of these tricks? They seem kind of pointless.
most of them are pointless ;), except closing the door, we use it all the time. But tricktraining is good for the dog, great mental work
