I've been loving this bow! My roll is archer's tempo and opening shot and it's been my favorite pvp bow with adept accuracy and Draw time master work.. legendary combo imo
Since it's release, wild card has never prevented me from getting a revive.
It's the same as Stasis crystals blocking a rez from Headstone, or a Glacier blocking a narrow part of a hallway. Even if it only takes a couple seconds to get rid of, it's worth it. It slows them down for free.

I think it’s also kinda like a communication thing cause the damage ticks kinda give away that someone’s rezing
Not saying its cracked or anything but wildcard got me a free kill on a headstone shatter last week in control w/ whisper of fissures

I managed to snag a 5/5 point of the stag, elastic/fiberglass/AT/Swash/Draw time MW. It's completely taken over for the crafted UYS. It can get pretty filthy in 6s
Also, the gameplay. Cammy is out here playing another game. Crazy gap
They have to do something about bows in PVP they're almost primary sniper.
You can also craft this combo on Under Your Skin, the void bow from season of the risen. You dont get the adept charge time, but its a much easier get!
Under skin is also better cause of enhanced perks.

Pre astanyax will be far more valuable on warlocks where 540 drawtime is otherwise inaccessible.
Enhanced perks don't necessarily make it better. Different strokes for different folks and it's situational
@ShadowNemesis575 well it really depends though. Because some of the enhanced perks do nothing while keep away enhanced gives you 15+ range an other stuff while regular keep away only gives you 10+ range
It also possible to craft this roll on raconteur. It’s the stasis bow from a few seasons ago. This widens the possible pairings.
Plus the origin trait increases your reload speed and handling for faster follow up shots and weapon swaps. It gives +30 to both which is a huge amount

Cammy, I’ve got the dungeon bow with hip fire and offhand strike. I’d almost say that archers tempo and offhand strike are better since you’ll get the decrease in TTK. Still fun as hell basically having a perfectly accurate hipfire shot after one kill. I play MnK, but after seeing what you can do with that new controller, you might be able to pull that off without any problems!
Imagine my luck to have run into Drewsky and Cammy in Trials today. I am an average PvP player. Why am I getting matched up with these top players, man? I just wanted a shot at getting the adept trace rifle. They were my first match of the day! I didn't even know Cammy was back on console! Man...

Raconteur is stasis and can get the archers tempo/successful warmup roll assuming you have the pattern for it.
Not to brag, but there is this really handsome guy named Xaane, his bow is like the Beyoncé of bows - 10k strong! Rumor has it, he's packing

I had this roll drop for me, but I never use bows.
I have one with tempo and opening shot , draw time mw+ draw time mod. Opening makes the first shot an easier crit which gets archers tempo going for fast body shot clean up. Been flawless a few times using it
I recently switched from hand cannon shotty to bow gl on warlock and bow glaive on hunter. Not gonna lie it has been the most fun ive had in such a long time. Especially when i pull what i like to call a hynra which is basically gotta go fast mode. I hate how good bows are because I if more people put them on we all know crucible would be an absolute hell
I think you mentioned it in a previous video, but incandescent also goes really hard in the 4th column. This applies more to warlock than hunter because solar lock is really the only warlock bow class.
With ashes, the scorch damage can enable a headshot cleanup on certain resiliences. This combined with wild card bolts makes for some easier group engagements.
I don’t use mine anymore as I’ve migrated over to strand hunter. I’m fairly sure strunter is the best class in the game at the moment (or at least has the highest skill ceiling).
Great vid as always. I’m glad you are getting some publicity on bows. As a bow main, they need a rework so desperately. I go into most matches on some other build and end up on a bow because it’s so difficult to combat without being on the same thing. It’s boring and with destiny’s infamous desync it really does feel like you are getting sniped by primaries.
People talking about skill and strand hunter meanwhile everything strand hunter does is essentially AI controlled 😂.
You can't whiff any of the melees you can't fk up the clone and let's not talk about threadlings.
I'll give you the fact that the super is hard to use vs snipers.

Yes, threadling spam is effective. And yes, the rope dart has some wild tracking and very high damage.
But between effectively using clones for radar manipulation, all of the tech/baiting that can be done with grapple points, and having an air dive with both aggressive and defensive applications, the class has many more options than a traditional grenade/melee/class ability subclass typically does.
I see your point as threadlings are probably in an overtuned spot at the moment and hunter gets the most access to them, but I also think you missed my point a bit.
I think my swash point of the stag will still be my main bow, but i have also really been enjoying a headstone raconteur, especially with stasis buffs in the artifact.
I’ve been using the crafted stasis bow with max draw speed for a while now and I love it. Can also get shoot 2 loot or headstone if you don’t mind the draw time penalty.
It can't have an adept draw time mod though so it's not the lowest draw time. It can only go down to 576 rather than 540.
Cam honestly I'd rather you trade me with that Ele-Cap + Eye of the Storm roll you got from Iron Banner 🤩 Especially if they nerf damage profiles... I never really bothered with oneshot builds anyway so i'd go for Consistency and Reload Speed as much as i can 😔
My secret is out, been running AT ever since I got my first Accrued Redemption when GoS dropped. Swapped to a Wolftone with AT/Harmony, then when Under Your Skin dropped, enhanced AT/warmup has pretty much won the entirety of the game for me since. Stasis one with the same perks and Threadling hunter was the final straw for me, beyond-perfect in-air accuracy with threadlings to clean up if the second way-too-fast arrow was too slow and I just decided that I was done. Those bows are why I never thought lemon or Wish Ender were good; why deal with losing your special weapon to quickswap or an exotic slot when you can just Legolas the hell out of the entire enemy team?

You mentioned lightweights, when fighting other bows. Would u favor whistlers whim in comparison to a precision? Rapid hit+kill clip+ veist stinger. Fast draw time, fast reload, big damage potentially one shots without need of a melee?
Lightweight can do a lot more damage than precision can with half shots quarter shots, flick shots by shots

Based on your comments I presume Oathkeepers and Adept Draw Time don’t stack, or at least there’s a cap so if you have all the right perks using both is pointless?

Adept draw time brings it down to 540, without ADT the lowest a precision bow can go is 576.
There is simply no need to nerf that weapon, there are much worse things.

Im nervous to commit to my perfect Point. I feel blessed to have gotten it but scared to use it. Watching a ton of bow vids before stepping in.
Bows are surprisingly forgiving. You're gonna likely hit a lot of headshots/bodyshots that you didn't think you could hit.
Bows are ridiculously easy to use.

Threat detector and danger zone I believe, threat x1 tells him 1 enemy is near, threat x2 tells him that 2 are near, and danger zone tells him that 3+ are near.

@@taylormade601 the ability to double body, the ability to cover near all ranges, the general ease of use, and the numerous quick swap options. They are very easy to hit shots with and are too forgiving for the amount of damage they can put out. I'm sure there are things I'm forgetting.
@@Mr_Ruhl sure. But a double body is still a long ttk. And you still have to build into a viable hotswap option. Im not trying to defend it. I know its oppressive to top players. But when smgs exist and Igneous Hammers can spam microwave hitboxes, bows are the last thing i get tilted about 🤷🏻♂️
@@taylormade601 I personally wouldn't ever send hateful messages to anyone over their weapon choice as that's Bungie's fault imo, but they are frustrating to play against and do see where it could push a player over the edge especially in something high stakes like trials. SMGs and 120 HCs are undoubtedly very good, but only in the ranges they're designed for. Igneous definitely is a stat monster, but is an outlier in the 120 hand cannon department and could agreeably use some detuning of its own. SMGs in general are in a good spot in my opinion as they're the only counter to shotguns and most fusions. They're overly used mostly because of map design however there are some that are pushing the range a bit much.
Most bows on the other hand can cover nearly any range and the ttk is nearly irrelevant when peek shooting along with their optimal ttk double body capability. IMO regarding precision bows specifically, they should not be able to get draw time less than ~650 and should also not have the ability to double body without a damage buff. They shouldn't have their optimal ttk be achievable via body shots, they should be 1 crit 1 body. Lightweights should be 2 crit or 1 crit 2 body.

Yes, it currently only drops from the flawless Trials chest, I'm pretty sure they did that since the Trials bow was the first to have an Adept version

I guarantee it doesn't drop from GMs, at the moment anyway. I farmed the sht out of nightfalls this season and it hasn't dropped. Same thing with adept accuracy. However there have been many pve mains that say they have these mods unlocked, yet claim that they've never been flawless. From the info I've gathered it seems when the trials bow was introduced they added these mods to the flawless chest because it was the only adept bow at the time. At some point before this season Bungie also added them to GM completions, and as of now they've removed them from GMs and are once again only obtained from the flawless chest. 🤷♂️ Bungie logic I guess.

Edit: I just noticed the adapt draw time mod doesn't even appear in collections for me even though it's available for me to use. Same goes for adept accuracy, and the mods icon doesn't show on the weapon either. It still says 540 draw time and has the adt text, but there most definitely must be some bugs with the bow specific mods.

Ok, first of all pre astynax has the fastest draw time in the game so no you are wrong. Secondly, stop comparing kinetic slot weapons to energy slot weapons, and if u wanna use a kinetic bow just use wish-ender.
Wish ender is a camp for walls bow not an aggressive bow.
