‘Keishum-Shang’ sings a song of mental health struggles- of fear, feeling lost and helplessness, prayer, and, most importantly, hope. Considering the short time limit of the music video, we could only project just two faces of the multidimensional mental health struggles, with a special focus on the mental health of adolescents and LGBTQ+ representation. The MV does no justice to all the remaining dimensions. However, we hope these two faces will initiate more conversations, awareness and initiatives on mental health. Mental illness spares no age, gender, race, ethnicity and caste.
Together, let’s shed the stigmas surrounding mental health. Let’s break the silence. Let’s work for increased access to mental health services for all in this unequal world. Break your #MentalCage now. #Keishumshang dagi thoklaklase.

Exactly one year ago today, on 21st Oct'2020, Girl Up Manipur was formed. What better way to celebrate this past 12 months of a rollercoaster ride than this soul- stirring music video!
