The fact that i could piece together the danger MOMENTS before it was revealed because of their behavior was perfect. This is how you do horror foreshadowing. Show a concerning thing, given the audience only a brief time to process the danger it poses, then send the danger their way before they can brace themselves.
I thought I was going to be scared, but instead I'm just sitting here thinking "What is up with those fish?" No joke, I thought those were ordinary fish doing ordinary fish things, but then they suddenly attack him? I am more confused than horrified.
So the fish aren't actually monsters ive relieased after putting some thought into it. Some fish have a weird fancination with oxygen bubbles, usually bumping into and messing with the item that gave them off to try and make more, but the fish accidentally knocked his hook off and caused it to snag on his rebreather which led him to drown
it's funny bc it's called rebreather but you drew him with a standard SCUBA setup?? a rebreather is totally self-contained, and doesn't produce bubbles at all. Great animation+voice acting anyway
* drums start to ratatat * OCEAN MAAN~, take me by the hand, lead me to the land, that you understand~! OCEAN MAAAN~, your journey to the corner of the gloobe is a REAL TRIP~!
@@drawnbygab ah, so this is just creative advice. I am by no means an expert salvage diver, but normally for most retrieval operations they would rig it and lift it via lift bag. his equipment for this kind of job also is quite wrong. if you want a cable attached to a diver you can do use what is called an umbilical, but that wouldn't be seen free diving. I highly recommend doing more research on salvage diving equipment and operations as such. having a few divers descend in a basket and walk around would look super cool and really set that kind of slow and unable to flee vibe. I also feel having a winch cable strapped to your back is a very bad idea in almost all scenarios. Love the monster designs and would love to see future diving horror animations!
Idk why, but just the detail of one eye visible at a time due to reflection is so cool to me.

This is kind of interesting, but I don't think the create are intimidating in the slightest, it's kind of hard to tell Wyatt they're supposed to be
Really cool, but watching at .75 speed just makes it all the more eerie. Let's the horror settle.
perfect
would be nice if it wasnt 4 fps, cant even tell whats happening
