1:25 - Holy damage % increase is still bugged on patch 1.09.1 - Shard of alexander does not affect holy damage, as with any other % increase buffs that don't directly add AR. (Example: Jump talisman on Coded Swords)
That explains why ordovis ash of war felt a little weaker than usual. Thanks for the heads up

@@Kingdo99anot all mages are bad, the spammers give mages a bad name and as a result most good players tend to not use mage as to not be labeled among the rest. But it was funny to see the moonveil guy not learn and just kill his phantom and himself.

The level of skill or amount of spell spam matters not; they're still annoying.
Regardless, whether they are the host or not, the mage gets it first.

I always have this in my inventory for mages. It so fun seeing them panik when hit. But any competent player can doge it or they learn not to spam spells.
Too bad that requires basic pattern recognition, something they never needed to beat the game

to this day i hate that mooning veil. If it wasnt for how stupidly effective the aow spam is, the first guy, who was r1ing and r2ing all over the place, wouldnt probably land a single hit

There's something really satisfying about watching a magic user (high intelligence) repeatedly make the same mistake by giving you free golden missiles, over and over again.

I think that currently there is a bug with holy damage that causes it not to get buffed by some buffs while others still work. You can see this very obviously with weapons like Cipher Pata and Coded Sword when using the claw talisman and curved sword talisman (It doesn't affect the jump/counter attack damage at all). This can also be seen with golden order incantations not being affected by Gold Mask, Canvas Talismans, Godfrey's Icon, Golden Order Seal etc.
I'm not 100% sure how many things are currently bugged or if any of them have been patched yet but I'm (mostly) sure that only holy damage has a problem. Regardless, it seems like From Software has messed up royally...

Hey Steel! 9:31 The true combo is for 1h overhead>throwing knife>r1 :) I think you were 2h. Dunno if there's a big difference, but its at least more consistent. Also, latency probably breaks the true combo. Such is souls.
I think it would be interesting if the treespear buff could affect the retaliation damage. Not that it matters since a piece of meat covered in random glowing stuff laughs at it for days.
This shield is truly one of the shields in elden ring
Combine this with Shard of Alex and a holy cracked tear for maximum vigor checking karma. I think steels damage is a little low in the video because the holy blast scales with Faith.
Golden Retaliation scales off weapon upgrade, I don't believe faith has any effect on the skill. Holy Tear/Sacred Scorpion are nerfed in PvP, so Shard of Alexander is the best way to buff it.
@@CsStrez yeah none of the scorpions are worth it and the Elemental tears are nerfed but there still useful, you could also apply Epitath’s last rites buff and sacred order with its new glitch lol.
Shard is not working with it.
btw I don't think you have to angle the chop halberd true combo, it just doesn't work sometimes depending on the timing of the throwing knives and the distance, if you throw them too soon it's actually less likely to work.
green turtle talisman is a must on any build, consider using it, having a fast stamina regen is much better than a shard of alexander or other thalisman

1:25 holy damage seems to be bugged in pvp, where it isn't boosted by shard of alexander, ritual sword, etc.
Things that directly increase holy damage, such as scared scorpion charm and holy shrouding cracked tear, will increase damage.
Don't know how this isn't patched

I've been wondering for a while now, how do you guys stay locked on when using the great bow arrow volley AoW? Whenever i go behind cover in attempt to do that i lose lock on after a few seconds of the target not being in front of me.
People should do more big team battles in the bridge once 6 players gets added

make sure you are using Golem Arrows. They have an slight AoE to them that makes hitting targets much easier

Not fully understand why did you forget about this technique for months?
Honestly, it may be due to content creation and constantly looking for new builds to maintain interest of audience. I rotate builds even few times during one stream and because of that I end up forgetting techs and setups. No standardization of menu layouts and optimal gameplay routes leads to pepega gaming
