Leila, I am still wondering why your subscriber is relatively low; it is, in my opinion, the best youtube channel explaining Microsoft Excel. So, it deserves millions and millions of subscribers. I really like it, addicted watching it, and enjoying it. Thank you very much :)

The reason in my opinion is because of mixture of expectations, previous experiences and preconceived ideas. not many will tell you this. but I am confident you will see the point i am trying to explain. You are a confident, beautiful, smart lady, and because all your videos are displaying the beautiful big photo of yours upfront, most people's first thought will normally be "she is just another beautiful girl trying to use beauty to compensate for "something" , but that's not what i am looking for now" (meaning she is probably not special in knowledge about excel). Then they skip your video to go for another channel. Its a sad thing, but its true. You cannot blame them for having that thought, because unfortunately images of beautiful women have been over used to market virtually ANYTHING, specially things that otherwise might not be easy to sell. However, it only take ONE advanced excel video to know how good and knowledgeable you are, Laila. Your upfront beauty is unfortunately distracting and "misleading" people :), however. if they only had the patience or the willingness to give you a chance, they would have seen how outstanding is your knowledge and teaching skills. I would personally rate you among the best excel tutors in youtube. If you want, you can try to reduce the photo size to small circle in the corner and see the effect. Many youtubers do it that way.
Although this post is somewhat old, I do believe Leila has the absolute best teaching style. The content and delivery are first class and the clear instructions are simple to follow. I look forward to learning more and watching this star shine.
Wherever I work I’m considered the Excel Guru. But watching your videos makes me realize that I can still learn so much from you! If TH-cam wouldn’t exist, it would need to be invented just to show your videos! Plus: your teaching skills are phenomenal! Your voice is so easy to follow. About a month ago, my job responsibilities changed. I now had to use Excel to track all kinds of metrics. I had NEVER used Excel, so I was overwhelmed to say the least. I resorted to TH-cam searches to help me. Within a week, I had people asking "you did that in Excel?!". Your videos have helped me in such a great way - and I am now the "go to" guy when people have Excel questions. Obviously I don't know everything about Excel, but I know I can either figure it out - or "research it" in You tube! Your training videos ROCK!

I have worked in excel for long.. but copy pasting that object on a series is a thing - I never knew in last 15 years.. Great info... The color formatting is also new to me, in a graph... Keep educating...

Great video! I've been following the tutorial while using the sheet. I've encountered a problem when I got to the part where there are the stacked columns. When I try to change the top with the curved shape, there's a gap between the curved shape & the lower column. How do I solve this? I'm using Excel 2011 for Mac.

Hello Leila, I have just started using Excel, mainly for personal use, and this is the first one of your videos I have followed step by step. Although there are some differences with Excel for Mac with regards to displays and windows I managed to achieve the same result. Definitely a chart to keep hold of for future use thank you.
I've just created this, and it's fab! I've also set one up with the top 3 highest highlighted, and also one chart with just the top 2 highlighted, using nested if statements with either the LARGE(array,3) or LARGE(array,2) in.
Wow! ..and this is explained such amazingly simple way that even my 10 year old son could do it.. he has very limited knowledge of excel, with almost nil exposure to charts... still he could do, all his own! Great 👍👍
To be honest i have watched N number of excel videos on youtube but this caught my attention. It was so prompt that this video made me eager to learn this and try couple of times for practice right away. Gonna watch all your videos soon. Please do not stop doing what you are doing now!

However, I am using version 2010 and I managed to get a formula in order that the values of B42:B48 shown on chart as your instruction to be…”click on of these datalabels and connect them with a formula to your data….” ss well as how to overlap Chart of stack 1 Max, stack 2 Max on at the end steps. Kept my eyes to read all the comments below and my God and find out your instrutive replies. Everything is solved like your instructive video. Many thanks again!

With all due respect to your effort, Mac Numbers serves the same function in effortlessly a couple of seconds and way fewer clicks, and with more beautiful results. I know you are not concerned with this, but it is just something complicated I have noticed in Excel.
