I was a criminal defense attorney and a prosecutor for many years. I handled hundreds of DUIs. I want people to understand how drunk she was. I have never handled a case where the blood alcohol concentration was above .20. Most humans would be vomiting and/or passing out. The danger she put her children in is next level. I cannot believe they dropped the child abuse and resisting arrest. Very unjust, the kids deserve better protection than this and wouldn't have been dropped for the average person. And completely sober, she takes zero responsibility.

Her husband has been jailed for dui. To be jailed for it in the US means you have to have done something really awful.

She has been arrested for violence a number of times, including for physically assaulting her nephew, who was a child. When the police arrived, she was screaming at him that he was "fat" and "useless". Once she was handcuffed she screamed that he should be very afraid of her and how she'd hurt him once she was no longer handcuffed. A child under 10 years.
    Stay classy Hope.
She also abused the officers, including saying "my necklace cost more than all your salaries".

☹️ Don't hold your breath. Unfortunately, she seems too entitled and selfish to develop the self awareness necessary to learn anything from this. Also she's surrounded by ultra-privileged 4th wave feminist types on her team, and in her "progressive" celebrity circle, and those types of people don't grasp the concept of personal responsibility. They are basically conditioned to scapegoat all of life's problems on "sexism", "the patriarchy", and "capitalism", etc.
You can bet that her "apology" and her official explanation on her blog were at least partly written by her publicist, if not entirely.

RedPill, what if, and hear me out, what if instead of the cops showing up at that parking lot, you have individual(s) with ulterior motives showing up and trying to hijack the vehicle, or just pull a knife or gun demanding her purse, or worse taken the kids as a bargaining chip, as in kidnapping. It could very well happen especially in this day and age. And she’s intoxicated to boot! In a public parking lot!

Worse yet, what if some sleezeball would've recognized her as a wealthy celebrity, and taken her and her kids as hostages for ransom, or just to rob her ATM account, then kill everyone afterwards. Honestly, I didnt who she was until the very end of the video. I thought she was just some drunken Karen. I didn't know who she was until they arrived at the jail, when an employee there recognized her and told the arresting officer who she was. Obviously he didn't even realize who she was either.
