Automated Packaging System from Motion Controls Robotics'

Closure Systems International Inc., a global leading supplier of closures for consumer and industrial products located in Crawfordsville, Ind., was experiencing growing demand for its caps and needed to increase production while optimizing operations.
The company chose to automate its manual manufacturing process and installed a fully automated end-of-line packaging system by Motion Controls Robotics using FANUC robots. Watch more to see how automation resulted in a 25 percent increase in cap production for CSI!
The new automated system includes several different FANUC robot models including an M-20iA/35M for case erection, an LR Mate 200iD/4S to inspect cases and ensure they are properly taped, an M-410iC/315 on a rail for palletizing/stacking cased product and an M-410iB/140H for pallet/dunnage handling.
