Sea Foam is amazing stuff. I have been using it for about 25 years.
I cannot buy non-ethanol gas where I live, so I add 1-ounce per gallon of Sea Foam to the E10 gas I use during the summer, and then store my equipment with engineered fuel.
Sea Foam is a very good fuel stabilizer while also keeping the fuel system clean. Great Vid!! :)

The Seafoam Top Engine Cleaner can goes on to say that after doing as shown in the video, to flood the engine out with the product and let it sit for about five minutes than start it again and burn the product off. If you do this in all likelihood you get rid of the last of the surging you talk about. I have done this on many engines over the years and rarely does it not work.

For dirty carburetors Sea Foam can be used up to a 50/50 mix. After your carburetor is running as it should, continue using one ounce Sea Foam to one gallon of fresh fuel. Even better if non ethanol fuel is available in your area. I use 89 octane none ethanol with a one-ounce Sea Foam to one gallon of fuel mixture in all my outdoor power equipment. Sea Foam is great for keeping carburetors clean and running smoothly. Ethanol absorbs moisture, so that is why it causes corrosion if left in the carburetor during the off season. I avoid ethanol fuel like the plaque in all my outdoor power equipment. Some use E-10 91 or higher octane in their snow blowers. It is not the higher octane that makes the difference, it is the extra cleaning detergents added to the high-octane fuel that helps. Small 4 cycle engines are relatively low compression and don't need the slower burning high octane fuel made for high compression engines. It is just as cost effective to add Sea Foam to E-10 89 octane fuel and as I shared, even better to use none ethanol fuel if available in your area. Or, as some do when it comes time to store your machine, buy the engineered fuel in a can for winter storage. It is ethanol free. Thanks for sharing real results using Sea Foam. Enjoyed watching your video.

I tried for over an hour to get my snow thrower started and it wouldn't turn over. I knew it was a fuel issue because the using primer would get it to run for a second, but no more. I added 4 fluid ounces of Seafoam to the gas tank, waited 10 minutes, and it started right up. It's been running great ever since.

This is likely caused by improper storage of your snowblower for the summer. If you drain the fuel tank and run it dry, the carb won't gum up with the ethanol based fuels we have these days.

I never bothered trying to find non oxygenated gas. I just use 87 octane, but I've always used Seafoam in my small engine gas. I also make sure there's Seafoam in the fuel system for storage because it is not only does it clean you carb, it is an excellent fuel stabilizer during the off season for long term storage in all my engines. I never have to do carb work on my motorcycles, mowers, chainsaws or outboards. I use it in my vehicles also a couple times a years to clean them too.

I have a brand new carb on mine and it still does this. Went to move the idle screw on it but it is siezed up and stripped. Atleast it is still running and throws snow. Bought it for 18 dollars lol

I just hit it with a hammer. Works great now.
