That whole scene like got me into horror. That and Hallween 2 which also intorduced me to Night of the Living Dead since it was always on tv in the film.
All that's left of the cabin now is some stones from the chimney/fireplace. I went to where the driveway meets the main road, a few years ago. Still looks creepy, even though it's completely overgrown. That was as far as I was allowed to go, and you can't see the cabin from there. Please don't get any ideas about going to the cabin; it's private property and posted no trespassing.
@Sinister Ambience A friend of mine actually went (illegally). That's how I know there's nothing really left. Definitely wouldn't be worth the trip. If I can find my clip of the old driveway, I'll upload it and post it here.
I pitched a tent there alone one night during the winter. There was no one. I must admit I was a little scared there, but my name is the Dark Knight and my father is a priest.
I was watching again part 2 and realized that one of my favorite things in the film is when Ash is left alone in the cabin surrounded by demons, this sound give me the chills. For me it's like a warm and cold, full and empty at the same time feeling. Thank you so much for uploading this!

Thanks! I actually modeled most everything including the room, windows, the doors, the fireplace mantle (not the rocks), the clock...everything except the couch, lamp, desk and chairs. And all the nick nacks on the shelves which were all from Quixelbridge

I also heard there's many old hunting traps that are still active in the area. House is gone, area is dangerous. Fun idea, but not in execution.
