    I wish spotter trucks would be 12-18 inches longer. When you’re hooked to a refrigerated trailer it gets mighty tight getting out of the back when you’re a heavyweight like me.

      Kalmar Ottawa offers their tractor in various frame lengths. Generally, in 10" increments. I recommend that you use the 126" wheel base option, or the more unusual 132" option for refer trailers rather than the more standard 116". Reach out if I can help!

    This guy is a pro puts it in drive releases the brake and gets up to check the manual behind the seat and forgets to open his trailer doors, must of drank to much beer the night before.

    Some of these models are VERY bouncy and hard on your back and neck. The older models are better. Smoother ride.

      Check the tires and the air pressure in them. That is the first line of defense from the surface undulations. The newer T2 has a much better ride than any other tractor available due to better slider leaf spring front suspension, improved air ride seat and improved cab air suspension. However, you have to adjust the seat and the cab air ride properly.

      All switch horses ride like shit even with air ride and are very slow they do one thing extremely well move trailers very quickly

      It has one but it only shuts off the power. Truck keeps running lol.

    The passenger mirror is garbage I've drove otr and day cab's but this passenger mirror on this truck is garbage.

    I dove one for a bit. The 2012 design is way better. The Def system is the biggest down side of this one. That and you can't fit a 60 ft shipping container on it. Hits the cab on a turn. The cab was comfy with extra room but in 6 months the plastic cracked on everything especially the roof. It couldn't lift as much as the 2012 either. The bouncy part is easy to fix so I didn't worry about that.

    Never mind the brand.
    Please ditch the damn push-button transmission. It's slow, annoying, not ergonomic and a generally negative experience.
    Allison make a fine transmission, but, please sir, may we have a lever for the trans?

    I hate that gear selector, always finicky when you are wearing gloves. Plus these things ride obnoxiously hard, I work on a gravel lot. A few bumps make you leave your seat.

    2024 model sucks, company bought 11 of these all of them in first 50 mil 0:01 es has had trouble
    1. Mirror falling off
    2. Fuses blowing
    3. Exhaust system keep overheating
    4. Have to rave the engine jut to get the 5th wheel to go down
    6. 3 of the reucks fuel gages are set up backwards, fukk tank reads empty
    7. Couple the 5th wheel goes up while driving

    These trucks suck they dont have a driver door that's where I keep my cutters and tools they ride like shit now the commando that's a good truck

      Actually, A drivers door is an option. However many people don't wish to spend the money on it and consider it a safety compromise to have a door which opens out to a four foot drop! Especially, in light of the back door exit to stairs with handrails for a safe exit. The T2 has been tested and shown that it is big improvement over other brands IN NVA ( Noise, Vibration and Harshness). It is superior to the older Ottawas. Which are superior to everything else out there. Slider front springs, Air Seat and three point cab air ride are the reason for the smooth ride. You may need to have training on how to adjust the cab air ride and seat properly. There is still a pocket on the left side inner panel for your crap. A lot of people put a tool box on the tractor for bolt cutters and etc. There is a large flat area on the dash that makes a great mount for small items in a "jockey box".

    These trucks are absolute garbage. Nothing but issues with these newer ones. Had a 2014 and it was way better than the 2020 model.
