Bonus advice: When doing past paper practise, and you attempt a question where it's like 3-5 marks but if you check the mark scheme, there's like 9 or 10 different things you can say to gain the marks, I recommend not skipping through the things you missed even if you got full marks for the question. Try your best to mention EVERY single point during your practise, just so you have no room for error and in case you can't think of anything, the basic points are gonna come in clutch. Also, draw diagrams whenever possible. It helps you, and it helps the examiner get an idea of what you're trying to say. It might be very useful when showing the cycles in photosynthesis/respiration or when writing about gene technologies perhaps. And then label your diagram, of course.
hey Nouman do you know how to use the website link to pdf feature on remnote? you mentioned it on your remnote video a few months ago but whenever i try to link a website, it brings me to the actual website instead of converting it to a pdf and opening it inside remnote
I know this vid is about biology but may I ask how you revise for chemistry practicals especially those pesky one markers, even when I revise practicals for chem, I always seem to get them wrong. How do you go about making sure you gain those marks? Specifically like when they ask for why something happens in a practical, I normally only revise methods for practicals and that stuff isn’t there for me
That’s something I’ve struggled with myself, to be honest I’ve only just been seeing improvements in those questions and I think it just comes from doing lots of questions around the topic from which the practical is from, you get this general understanding of the concepts and why things are done and you just get better and being able to work those one mark Qs out. I still get a fair amount of them wrong but the proportion is much less nowadays and I think it’s just been because of consistent practise.
It’s just something that’s been requested, as I’ve said in my previous vids, these vids are more inspiration for people who may not know what to do day before their exams, so by all means it’s up to you whether you wanna follow the tips
