@@pedromiranda2356 not even. Supertubes is sand bottom and a much more even-breaking wave. Pipe/Backdoor have also incurred far more fatalities and serious injuries than Supertubes has. By far.
Bummer the winds are gonna turn onshore for the entire WSL window lol. They seriously need to rethink the way they run the contest window and mid year cut and world champ surf off. Lol what the fuck have they done. I miss the ASP and first couple years of WSL.
For me it's crazy how the only way to understand what it means to get swallowed by a wave is getting swallowed by a wave. It feels like something impossible to imagine until you live that experience... and it's horrible, but you can't stop.
