Without doubt the best instructional video I have ever seen on czech nymphing....and god knows I have looked at bloody loads of them on here. Well done Paul...brilliant job :-)
Thanks Damo, you should see the higher production quality stuff I'm doing now with John Pearson and Dean Hodson :-) Link to free email tutorials associated with these here (choose your country): discover-tenkara.com/subscriber-country/
Hi - in this clip I'm using an AFTM #2 rod that is 8 feet 3 inches long. Other common ratings would be 10 feet rods for either #3 or #4. Greys do the excellent Streamflex plus which is a 9 foot 6 inch rod with an extension that gives an extra 6 inches (and comes in a #3 option).
in Poland we use fairly long rods for that kind of nymphing - 10'-11' , with exception of forest rivers, where due to overhanging tree branches impossilble to use long rods (I'd use 8' in small forest river)
Rob Cordon the title is grayling fishing using Czech and polish style techniques. No one has mentioned fly fishing or even flies, they're using nymphs! I think you're moaning for the sake of it.
Hi Paul. Wow! This is an oldie, but goodie. Old school, before French leaders, I guess. Do you still have copies of this? And do you know where to find the Morewell 8'3" 2wt.? I can't find any information on it. Don't know if you will see this, but hope your new year is off to a great start. Thanks, Harold
Nice one, why do you think the actual nymph style plays such an important part in this type of fishing, as apposed to other nymphs I.e. Stone flies etc? Cheers

Do you ever strip strike ? An alternative to having to recast on a missed take.

Do you always use the same length of tippet & spacing of flies underneath the indicator?
