It was much needed! I also want to persuade my career in psychiatry in UK. Your videos have been much useful to me. Though I'm at undergrade level, Road to UK is one of the reasons that has made me focused on my Career by providing necessary information. Thanks a bunch!
Since I began my PLAB route, your channel has been quite helpful. I want to thank you both for such an instructive video regarding the training courses. love from India !!
@@RoadToUKGreetings, Sir/Madam Respectful seek for information on how to obtain a clinical observer-ship in psychiatry, or any chance to assist me in obtaining an attachment. Thank you.
i’m not an IMG (i’m a UK citizen + graduated from a UK med school) but this was still so useful for me, i just began F1 and am a bit confused about the multiple pathways!
I really like the series on how to pursuit different PG programs, it has been an eye opener for someone like me who's preparing for PLAB. Can you please do one of your next videos on how to become Pathologist, that would be very helpful sir. Keep up doing the good work and best of luck in your work and study. 🙏🏾 🙏🏾 🙏🏾
Great video! Only one correction: the combined programme awards a CCT at the end and not a CESR since January 21. Source: rcpsych/routes to registration
Hi. Can someone kindly help me what to prepare for my upcoming interview for the position of Speciality doctor in general adult psychiatry at NHS Thank you
Hi is it true that during core training or Speciality training , trainees are required to move from one region to another every 6 months ? Or can we just choose a town/city and get the three years of training in the same place itself but maybe in different medical centres every 6 mnths? Also does ur MSRA score decide where u get placed? Like for eg. if i have a higher M SRA score, i can choose where i want to get trained? There’s confusion regarding this. Please throw some light🥹
Thanks a lot for the video, very helpful as usual. Now.. I have a question, instead of doing a normal foundation program, can I do a psychiatry foundation fellowship or how does it work?
Great video. I just want to know is someone a psychiatrist yet after C1-C3? Or is it compulsory to finish S1-S3 to get the title of Psychiatrist? Thank you
These competitive ratios for ST4 training involve only for uk medical students or it also includes international graduates who wants to enter NHS via mrcpsych after completing post graduation in their respective countries?
Thank you for this video! It was really informative and made a lot of things clear. I have a couple of questions, 1) is the MSRA exam specific to psychiatry related questions or is there a common one with the entire medical syllabus? 2) Can we take gap years between each ST year, or at least between CT and ST to do other courses like an MSc?
