Even though I was kicked out after only a semester due to subpar grades and GPA, they will let me back in when I reapply as a transfer student when I have 30 credit hours. There are several more resources for students in the basement of William T. Young. They have Playstations , podcast recording rooms, a green screen, a Moog synth room, tons of Windows and Apple computers and awesome staff who provide technology assistance. The Media Depot and the Tech Help center are awesome resources.
Nice campus! I got accepted into my dream school out in Utah and decided to start early in the summer. However thinking of transferring maybe somewhere else where maybe I’d be more valued. Then recently found out I didn’t get any scholarships despite having a 3.6 high school gpa. I’m kinda interested in both technology and business. Started as a business student but found everything very basic, and then interested in their game developer program for the fall instead. Decided to do 12 credits for the summer which some say is pushing it but so far mostly general Ed’s. So 2 of my business classes would count towards general-Ed’s if it’s not longer my major. Guess it’s probably too late to change schools now. Was thinking about maybe just renting a room and working for the rest of the year, and apply for next fall to about 5 or 8 schools. Feeling really conflicted and like just another number at my current school… I know university of Kentucky would be on that list though of schools I’d consider transferring to.

I went to University of Kentucky in 2018. I then transferred to another school just because it had a harder acceptance rate. It was the worst decision I ever made . University of Kentucky will always b the best year of my life . Even though I graduated from a school with a lower acceptance rate . I will always be a wildcat for life . Acceptance rates do not matter , no one cares if you went to an IVY league or SEC !! Trust me !! My biggest regret ever was leaving university of Kentucky !!

Night life for first year students is basically just Greek life. You can go to lynaughs too. Classes and stuff are easy but you’ll have to try harder to party cause the campus isn’t wet. Campus feels big at first but will feel smaller every semester. Getting involved is absolutely essential
