I think it is newest style music just Tachibana can show the audience, can get novel prize.( of course field is different ) I want to know the value of their unique performance nothing comparable in the world, don’t imitate other high school famous for marching , it’s not necessary just learn the good point of them.

What makes the Kyoto Tachibana band stand out, even more than the uniform, is their sense of fun and the originality of their choreography. Warm-up moves accompany “Handclap”, which used to accompany fitness lessons; and “The Nightmare before Christmas” turns them into zombies. It is also good to see their concern for the well-being of the players. They work very hard, but not to the extent of accepting personal injury.
And their hard work is surely paying off because this batch(118th,119th,120) are qualified for the 34th All Japan Marching Contest for the first time since KT won the gold in 2015 they will be performing this November 21 and hoping that they will bring home the Gold one's again

It would be impossible because there are restrictions when you win the gold in straight years. if i remember correctly in the Episode of Waratte Koraete in 2011. The band won a silver then next is the gold and then gold again from 2008-2010 i think, and then the band is not allowed to compete in 2011 because they've won the gold in 2 straight years. But there is always a good side of KT not winning the gold actually. It gives determination to the Junior to give what ever it takes to win the Gold for next year to avenge and give make there former Senior proud. Just like this batch 118th in an interview last March with DM Rc(Racho) She said that their senior(class 117th) was very upset and sad last year because the National Competition got cancelled and She promised to avenge and bring the dream of their senior in this coming National competition and hopefully win the gold.
That Xylophone weights about 20 lbs (about 9kg). It's tough to play that while matching. FYI: The Xylophone Player on the bands 2023 trip to Taiwan (Dec 10-15 2023), broke her back and could NOT perform. Was on a wheelchair watching the team perform all the time and even was pushed in a wheelchair when she was boarding the plane back to Japan.
This Tachibana Senior High School band is so much better than any other band I have ever heard. much better than even college bands. I get emotional when I hear them play and watch them march. I can't believe how they can play and jump around all at the same time, without missing a beat. Truly they are the best of the best.
It is so fun to watch the band March. As I'm watching I got to thinking. This is a good reminder that music knows no boundaries and that's a great thing.

There are other bands that play equally well, but this band plays everything without sheet music, plus they jump around while playing, with incredible precision. It must take extremely much work to memorise all those movements. This is really inspirational.
The Senior High School Tachibana Band is really fun to watch. I'm impressed that they play so well as they march/dance in cadence. KUDOS to the students and band directors !!!

I think the new DM is one of the best baton twirler I've seen so far. Another one was Okazel (2018 DM). Also, this is the first time a bass clarinet player joined in a street parade.
I’m from New Orleans where we have Mardi Gras. The bands who march in our parades do just a drum beat most of the time and play a song here and there. These girls and a few guys perform in so many ways without missing a beat or step for long periods of time. Y’all are FANTASTIC,
I am impressed with their coordination of movement and playing the musical instrument at the same time, the training they gone through must have been very tough.
I don’t think that some people understand how hard it is for bands (especially if they haven’t been playing together for years) to stay in time just sitting down. I’ve been in concert bands since I was nine and when you get a new grade in (like when the next year level of kids come in to play) and it can be really difficult to sound good together with everyone in the band being at different levels. The fact that they are staying in perfect synchronisation while also dancing at the same time is incredibly difficult.
They never lost their touch. These kids have been through a lot and they prevailed. A lot of hard work, sweat, skill and determination. A big hand to these boys and girls. Also a lot of congrates to the new band director and new band coach, she showed she has what it takes. They deserved the gold.
I follow you from Turkey. When I first watched your show, I couldn't believe my eyes. I also play the clarinet. It takes an incredible effort to play an instrument while dancing to this tempo. All of the team do the same action at the same time without being surprised. I watched carefully throughout the entire show. I congratulate your teachers. I congratulate the students. I hope you will organize a show in our country in the future. I am sure that if the Turkish authorities saw you, they would certainly be honored to invite you to our country by covering all your expenses and to host you. Such energy wow, such a long parade route. High stepping, dancing the whole way while playing on key. I have a hard time walking and chewing gum. They must be exhausted at the end. I applaud them. Wonderful performance.
Also one of the girls is doing that with a bass clarinet that has a low C extension…..as a player of such instrument, that is very, VERY difficult to do
You can see that everyone here is having a great time and that these kids know they are amazing!!! Not just marching but these kids are dancing and playing at the same time!! Truly amazing! I’m even more impressed that they are playing Disney theme music 😍🥰
This band all the kids are the best ever. The world should look at these kids as a role model for many many millions of children throughout the world period extremely polite and very very friendly, and very very talented. I wish they would come to the United States more often than they have. In my opinion they are the absolute best band in the entire world. Former member of the Long Island Sunrisers drum and bugle Corp. Today is January 20th 2022.
They're top place year after year. The band director is phenomenal. Those kids work so hard, play and march great. I always enjoy seeing them. The swing is my favorite.

橘の国内パレード動画を観ていると、狭っ苦しい商店街や片側は普通に車がバンバン通っている道路だったりして、カラーガードの旗とか、トロンボーンのスライドとか周りに気をつけなきゃならんから「大変そうだなぁ」と思いながら見ているんだど、この別府の環境は日本にしては素晴らしいね。歩道もそこそこ広そうだし、撮影する人たちも安全に撮影できたんじゃないかなぁ。

The " Zombie " Dance Steps are wonderful. Your explanation caused me to realize what I was seeing. Kyoto Tachibana Band has a sense of humor.

This is the first Tachibana DM that I see twirling a baton. Most of the videos never focus on the DMs.
Okazel and this year’s DM are from the same middle school.
Coming from the New Orleans marching band culture, I genuinely salute this band. Well balanced and full sound all the way through.

This band all the kids are the best ever. The world should look at these kids as a role model for many many millions of children throughout the world period extremely polite and very very friendly, and very very talented. I wish they would come to the United States more often than they have. In my opinion they are the absolute best band in the entire world. Former member of the Long Island Sunrisers drum and bugle Corp. Today is January 20th 2022.

They're top place year after year. The band director is phenomenal. Those kids work so hard, play and march great. I always enjoy seeing them. The swing is my favorite.

ブルーメのパレードは距離が短くてライブ配信の通信も不安定でよく見れなかったので今回がやっと本格的なパレードの印象です。お天気にも恵まれて勾配のある道路でローズパレードみたいです。コロナ禍でも途切れないように伝統をしっかり伝えた先輩の117期(その前の116期も)、ずっと支え続けてこられた先生、コーチ、保護者の方々、みなさんの気持ちを乗せて118期の彼らがこんなに輝いてます♪
一番頑張ってきた部員さんたち、そして関係者のすべての方々のお陰で橘らしい元気いっぱいの楽しいパレードが見れました。有り難うございます！
映像では観客が手拍子で応援したり、「ヘイ！」のときに歓声が上がったり、国内のパレードでこんな光景はあまり見たことなくて別府のみなさんのホスピタリティにちょっと驚きました。温泉のように人々もあたたかいですね。(もちろん県外から応援に行かれた方々も気持ちのこもった応援されてたと思います)
主催者側の関係者や沿道の応援が嬉しくて彼らにも感謝です。このような環境でパレードできて本当に良かったですね。

今まで見てきた多くの動画では反応薄い事が多くて日本人はそうなっちゃうのかな？と寂しく思っていましたが、今回は手拍子したり手を振り返したり。
地元の催しでは見慣れてる人が多いけど今回は別府で初めて見る人がほとんどだから楽しくてつい手を振ったり手拍子したりしちゃうのかな。
私もいつか手を振りたい。
