It lacks any sort of beam weapons; hell, it's mostly focused on melee and ground combat with very few ranged options. On the flipside, it's almost unmatched in melee combat and extremely maneuverable when fighting on the ground. If anything, Exia and Turn A Gundam are the most powerful Gundams. The only way Barbatos could beat the Turn A is if Loran doesn't use the Moonlight Butterfly and if Loran doesn't fight to kill, which is opposite to Mika's "kill everyone" mentality Admittedly I really wanna see a fight between Barbatos and Mika vs Turn A and Loran
I hate it when julieta juris claimed that victory for rustal like she fucking earned it. She just stood here for like most of the fight, and proceed to behead the barbie when mika is in his dying moment. Then Gjallarhorn had the audacity to name her the killer of the devil. Sorry for venting, I'm still holding this feelings since the series ended.

That and Barbatos is one of my favorite gundams and no other series I've seen has captured an animalistic brutality like fighting style they show a couple time in the series such as here, other than maybe Evangelion 2.0. The barbatos is still, in a way, intact, Ahab reactors cannot be physically harmed. Not only that but they generate energy permanently and if the theory that the barbatos gains sentience through its pilots is true then technically, it will never die.

awesome show that was ruines half way trough the second season, main characters where killed off and no sense of justice or revenge is gained because they didnt take down anyone of significance of gjallahorn, awesome fight till the end but crap writing

Gjallahorn weren't the one's keeping the kids down, they got their revenge in the first season within the first few episodes after they killed/kicked out most of the adults that had been abusing them. They were a bona fide legit group partnered with Teiwaz. The problems started because they started to get greedy. They wanted more. You could argue that it's akin to giving water to a man dying of thirst (if unchecked they might drink themselves to death), but at the end of the day they sowed the seeds of their own destruction. I think Biscuit saw that and that was what he was trying to warn Orga of.
Technically the Deinsleif team. Mikazuki was already dying when he and Akihiro were hit by them and by the time he reached Julietta he had already died. She just finished off the lifeless Barbatos Lupus Rex

if they didnt use the damn railguns i 100% feel like tekkadan would have won a mika would have survived. someone should make an alternate ending where no one really REALLY important dies, like Orga and Mika and Biscuit. plus i was really mad that they killed Lafter. She was the absolute best.
