Most top guys actually don't spar with other top guys, especially in BJJ. They create systems and train with the bodies available, drilling different situations with different body sizes.

I’m a huge Conor fan but he needs to leave his gym every now and then. In all his sparring footage his partners let him dictate the pace and come forward. When Dustin came forward w pressure that last fight it rattled Conor a little. I feel like he is around too many yes men. I hope he chill his ego and goes trains w khazmat cejudo etc

Also I doubt they will show how hard his training behind closed door w/no cameras or at least not being shown to the public. But I agree I hope he has people around him that put him in check instead of follow his lead so that his out of his comfort zone & hopefully his doing that without us knowing. Can’t wait to see him back inside the Octagon bc no other fighters gets you excited as Conor’s fights! I wonder what pain goes on the leg with a titanium rod inside of it. I know the rod is fine, but if someone did a calf slicer, heel hook or banana split - does the bone crumble around the rod? Suddenly the bone is being pressed against a titanium rod? It's such a significant injury and I don't know of anyone with a rod that puts so much strain on the body.
