He is our first POC (Person of Orange Color) Bisexual (he has said he would kiss all the men in the crowd) president that may not have been out, but had an entire transition team. Guy is hilarious, responsible for a lot of people's recent upward social mobility, and he says what a lot of us are thinking to the faces of the elites of both parties. We can call him a fat orange boomer and have a laugh about it while he shttalks some random tv person with millions of dollars and none of our sympathy.

Closing the southern boarder is not bad policy. Streamlining legal immigration and bringing people in that will add to our country would be nice.

He did great on it overall. He got the numbers down lower than anyone else has managed. I'm here in Texas, people don't understand how badly we need to just say no and turn them back. It's not only good for our country, it's the kindest thing we can do for those poor people so they aren't tempted to come here. If you let them cross you subject them to so much abuse, suffering and disappointment. Sneaking into the US does not improve the lives of these people most of the time.

Inflation and illegal immigration are actually two of the easiest problems to solve. Inflation can easily be brought down by massive and very offensive cuts to government spending, including the abolition of entire agencies, and illegal immigration can easily be solved by simply enforcing the law and making Central American countries HELP enforce the law.
More corporate oversight, stricter penalties on corporations hiring people without social security numbers. Both easily solved by more corporate oversight, something politicians like Kamala are going to reverse, obstruct or outright disallow due to her silicon valley "friends" bribing her with campaign money. Look into her meeting with Linkin's founder last week.. he sits on the board of Microsoft btw. You gotta wonder who else sits on that board.

Not gonna argue about the border, but the cause of inflation is printing money and big government spending. So while the inflation didn't kick in under Trump, if he spends like he did in his first term, he certainly won't help it.

I have long felt that there is very little reasonable about Reason. The fact that they called themselves libertarians is hilarious. Gillespie has always been pretty damn progressive. He can certainly be libertarian on certain issues, but in general, I find him to be pretty to the left.
And the check. First of all, you’re a grown woman. Why do you have purple hair? You’re supposed to be conservative? And let’s be honest. Libertarians by definition are conservative on economics foreign policy, etc. etc. Socially liberal but otherwise conservative. You’re not very attractive to begin with. And that’s being kind. And you do the purple hair and you’re probably in your 40s? Talk about cringe. And your take is that Trump would not be as good on the border? The border was fantastic under Trump. Now I don’t think he can do a lot about mortgage interest rates or the economy or inflation. Not in the short term. Because that has been so screwed up it’s gonna take a while to fix. And I think what’s gonna happen is that we’re gonna have an economic crash and a recession hopefully not worse than that and it’s gonna be because of the Democrats, but it will happen with Trump in the White House and they will successfully blame Trump when it was clearly created by the Democrats.
