Today, she held a dharna against her own police and state machinery, which were responsible for the grave crime against Abhaya. There’s no other way to interpret it: Mamata Banerjee and her misguided supporters demanded the death penalty for the rapist while blaming political opponents like the Left (Bam) and the BJP (Ram) for the unrest in Bengal.
