A very comprehensive video ad thanks for your review. Can I check what are your views about EGO LM2135E-SP 52CM SELF-PROPELLED MOWER. These are two final choices I have zeroed down to and any guidance here will be appreciated.
Hi there, unfortunately I haven't yet been able to test the Ego lawnmower so can't really give a valued opinion.
However, one of the things to consider is which system ( not just lawnmower) you are buying in to.
The batteries for each brand can power a whole host of other pieces of equipment too.

Mower is good price at £1000 but batteries expensive at £240 each and £80 for twin charger. Still around £1500 all in is good
I agree it isn't cheap but the batteries do work across the whole expert range and they do actually last.
Later in the year I will do a comparison between the running costs of battery and petrol engines.

Hi Jim , great video . I'm looking to purchase a new cordless mower. As of today which mower would you recommend buying? I have a lawn approx size of a tennis court? Either self propelled or push? Kind regards Danny
Hi Danny, I don't really recommend any particular brands or models.
However, from personal experience and a lot of use I can say that the stiga hasn't let us down but neither did our Petrol Honda or Toro.
You could do with testing them yourself ( if a dealer will bring them out ) and see which one you feel most comfortable with. One of the biggest considerations for me is, what else can I use the batteries for.

I agree with you about the battery and how one can make use of this, I have thought a great deal about it, and people looking to change should think about this. Very nice but at a thousand pounds just about, very expensive for a "Home" lawnmower, I did see it for £800 online if you look about on google
Good bit of kit though, we use it commercially we've got the back pack battery holder and blower and hopefully the strimmer soon too 👍
@@JimmyTheMower it reallt did look great I was wonder, if using the out the back adapter wouldnt it cover your legs in grass? Or is it aimed downwards to your feet

It's aimed downwards but you would still be wading through grass clippings.
Although with how well the machine mulches I shouldn't think you would ever need to discharge the clippings back on to the grass.
I think if you are a professionist you can save a lot on fuel.

It's a phenomenal piece of kit. I am so impressed with it.
We've never had a battery mower that I can legitimately use on a commercial basis before.
We are still using it today and it hasn't let us down 👍
Damp grass collection?
Yes it works a treat. We tend not to mow when it's raining but it collects very well when there is dew on the grass 👍
How does that compare to the EGO
I haven't had an EGO mower on an extended test yet. But I can tell you that this machine is very well built and has been in use for over 6 months.
You will need to 2 sets of batteries for a full day's mowing 👍
@@JimmyTheMower Thanks Jimmy, I had set my eyes on the EGO battery but now seeing your review, I am taken with the Stiga , does it come with an option to fit a roller. It will be my first mower for my new business and I wanted a battery one, one that was easy to lift in out of gardens and will last the day, thanks again. p.s can you control the speed you are walking at
There is a dedicated rear roller mower which may suit your needs better.
See if you can get a demo of both the EGO and the Stiga because it would be great to hear your opinion 👍
